ANTEROPOSTERIOR CORRECTION DEVICES
In an embodiment, the present disclosure relates to a segmental distalization device that includes an elongate bar having a distal end and a mesial end, a distal base on the distal end of the elongate bar, a mesial base on the mesial end of the elongate bar, and an attachment member attached to at least one of the elongate bar, the distal base, and the mesial base. In some embodiments, the attachment member is operable to connect the segmental distalization device to an anchor via an elastic connector.
Spring based orthodontic device and methods of using thereof
An orthodontic device and methods thereof for correcting an arrangement of teeth are provided. The orthodontic device includes a plurality of brackets for attaching to teeth; a plurality of spring anchoring units, wherein each of the plurality of spring anchoring units is attached to one of the plurality of brackets; and a spring having a tension, two-dimensional longitudinal deformability and two-dimensional rotational deformability, wherein the spring is attached to each spring anchoring unit, wherein the tension is zero prior to attaching the plurality of brackets to the teeth, wherein further the tension is greater than zero immediately after attaching the plurality of brackets to the teeth, wherein further the tension is zero when the plurality of brackets is attached to the teeth and in an optimal position.
EXTENDED BUCCAL TUBE
This disclosure generally describes an extended buccal tube which is used in connection with braces for the teeth. The extended buccal tube accommodates an arch wire of a sufficient length to allow space to be created between one or more teeth while retaining the arch wire within a tube of the extended buccal tube. As space is created and the arch wire slides through the extended buccal tube, an overall length of the arch wire may be monitored through one or more windows in the extended buccal tube. Tooth pads on extended buccal tube may be rotatable by up to 20 in two axes for fitment purposes. When space has been created between the one or more teeth, extended buccal tube may be cut along scoring lines to separate teeth that were bonded together by the extended buccal tube.
ORTHODONTIC SELF-LIGATING BRACKET SYSTEM WITH OPEN AUXILIARY GROOVE, AND SELF-LIGATING BRACKET THEREOF
An orthodontic self-ligating bracket system with an open auxiliary groove, and a self-ligating bracket. The system includes brackets, wherein each bracket includes a main groove and auxiliary groove, and an elastic baffle plate is between the main and auxiliary grooves; the brackets include first, second and third brackets. The first bracket is arranged on an incisor, the second bracket is arranged on a canine, the third bracket is arranged on a premolar, and the elastic baffle plates of the first bracket, the second bracket and the third bracket are ingeniously arranged, such that an arch wire of the bracket system generates different orthodontic forces at the positions corresponding to different brackets.
Orthodontic bracket
An orthodontic bracket is provided, including a backend surface, a frontend surface, a first side surface, a second side surface, and a passageway. The backend surface is adapted for attachment and is opposite the frontend surface. The first and second side surfaces are connected between the backend surface and the frontend surface. The passageway extends from the first side surface to the second side surface. The cross-section of the passageway includes an access opening, an archwire slot, a path portion, and at least one rotation portion. The access opening is configured to allow the archwire to enter the passageway. The archwire slot is configured to receive the archwire. The path portion connects the access opening and the archwire slot. The rotation portion is provided in the path portion to allow the archwire to change its orientation.
ORTHODONTIC DEVICE FOR OVERBITE CORRECTION
An overbite correction device for use on an upper incisor or canine tooth is provided. The device has a bracket body including two rounded lingual protrusions, and a vertical slot therebetween; and a base for bonding to the upper incisor or canine tooth at a lingual side thereof by means of a bonding pad. The two curved lingual protrusions feature a curved lower-facing surface for receiving an incisor, to prevent incisor interference during grinding. The device may feature an aperture for receiving an elastic thread or metal ligature to tie multiple overbite correction devices together. Advantageously, if one device breaks off from a tooth, it is not ingested.
Orthodontic appliance
The invention relates to an orthodontic device which is particularly economical and as small as possible, and which has hooks and a small tube, produced from a sheet metal plate using stamping and bending techniques and without the use of welding or soldering. The orthodontic device comprises a base plate having a flat region with a gingival and an occlusal edge. An occlusal rolling forms the small tube. The gingival edge has a counter-directional rolling. Concave cuts are formed in the side edges in order to form wing-shaped hooks. Both rollings can hold an applicator/protector, with which the orthodontic device is protected during adhesion, and can then be applied to a tooth in the correct orientation.
ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE, ORTHODONTIC SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
An orthodontic appliance includes a body. The body includes a first portion defining a slot for receiving an archwire. The body further includes a second portion extending from the first portion along a longitudinal axis. The second portion includes a bottom surface opposite to the first portion. The second portion further includes a lateral surface extending from the bottom surface towards the first portion along the longitudinal axis. The bottom surface and the lateral surface at least partially form an external surface of the body. The second portion defines a cavity at least partially surrounded by the bottom surface. The cavity at least partially extends along a length of the second portion from the bottom surface. The cavity includes a reservoir and at least one passage disposed in fluid communication with the reservoir. The at least one passage extends from the reservoir to the lateral surface.
DALMAN ORTHODONTIC BRACKET
An orthodontic bracket assembly comprising a bracket base having a mounting portion for attachment to a patient's tooth; an upper retention element; a lower retention element wherein said upper retention element and said lower retention element form a slot adapted to receive an archwire; and a customizable bracket cover having a width an upper lip; and a lower lip wherein the customizable bracket cover is removably couplable to said bracket base.
