Removable Decorative Frame for Orthodontic Bracket
An accessory device for an orthodontic bracket for easy, consumer tool-free attachment and detachment to and from a bracket mounted on a tooth, having a decorative frame with three or more substantially straight members arranged at orthogonal angles; a retention frame with at least two substantially straight members substantially parallel to at least two of the decorative frame members; and one or more spacer member extending between the decorative frame and the retention frame; thereby defining at least one substantially rectangular parallelepiped within the decorative frame, retention frame and spacer member for slidably receiving an orthodontic bracket through an opening in the retention frame, wherein the retention frame engages a tooth base of an orthodontic bracket, and wherein the decorative frame provides a decorative coating, color, shape, pattern, surface treatment, or combination thereof.

Orthodontic Bracket Having a Movable Ligating Door
A self-ligating orthodontic bracket has a bonding base adapted for attachment to the crown of a tooth. A body member is attached to the front surface of the base and extends forwardly to a front face. The base defines a torque angle with respect to the front face of the body. Gingival and occlusal projections extend forwardly from the body member. The projections have archwire slot surfaces which, together with a portion of the body member's front face, define an archwire slot. First and second channels defined in the projections are coplanar and are disposed at an angle to the front face of the body member that is substantially equal to the torque angle. A door is disposed in one of the first and second channels. The door is movable between an open position and a closed position to selectably provide or prevent access to and from the archwire slot.
Method and apparatus for preventing plaque, calculus, and hard deposits in body cavities and the mouth
A method and apparatus, for treating plaque and calculus in the mouth cavity—particularly on teeth are disclosed. The apparatus—and accordingly the method—is comprised of introducing at least one first-component comprising a material with a redox potential for preventing anions precipitation; and introducing at least one second-component comprising a material with a redox potential for preventing cations precipitation.

Assemblies, methods, and kits including a compressible material
The present invention provides assemblies, kits, and methods including a compressible material. Optionally, a hardenable dental composition (e.g., an adhesive or primer) is in contact with the compressible material for bonding a dental article (e.g., an orthodontic appliance) to a tooth structure. Removal of excess hardenable and/or hardened dental composition, if desired, can be facilitated for embodiments in which the hardenable dental composition is an unfilled or a lightly filled composition.

Dental brace and method for attaching dental brace
A dental brace is formed with a bracket main body portion, an opening/closing lid portion, 3a and a tooth abutting plate portion. The tooth abutting plate portion includes, on one surface side, a first surface portion which abuts on the surface of a tooth T on the side of a tongue and includes, on a side opposite to the first surface portion, a second surface portion to which the bracket main body portion is adhered, and a charge hole portion is formed which penetrates from the first surface portion to the second surface portion.
