ORTHODONTIC SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an orthodontic system and associated method that provides complete and predictable control of tooth movement. Such complete and predictable control of tooth movement affords a practitioner with a means to develop arches and to direct tooth movement. To this end, embodiments of the present invention provide an efficient and effective component system and method of use for addressing commonly encountered treatment problems. These common problems include but are not limited to maxillary labial crown torque (dumping), mandibular labial crown torque (dumping), protrusion of the upper or lower lip, incomplete coupling of the anterior teeth, case finishing and lingual dumping of mandibular molars.
Peel Away Printed Metal Orthodontic Assemblies
An orthodontic apparatus includes a printed assembly conforming to the tooth with a separation line or zone defined therein having a configuration adapted to facilitate removal of the printed assembly. The separation zone or line takes the form of a slit, slot, serration, thinned indentation, a horizontal or vertical separation line or zone or a combination thereof, and an open slot defined in a cross configuration into the printed assembly with a vertical slot and intersecting horizontal slot, the vertical slot extending to the lower edge of the assembly. The assembly includes at least two separate portions, a buccal portion and a lingual portion conformed to the tooth, the separation line or zone being defined on at least one of the two separate portions. A three dimensional structural fixture may also be defined in the printed assembly for engagement with a tool.

APPARATUS FOR ALIGNING OR POSITIONING TEETH, AND RELATED METHODS
An apparatus and a related pair of elements and methods are for aligning or positioning teeth. The apparatus is configured to be worn in a mouth of a wearer and further configured to be supported on the teeth of the wearer, and has elements arranged to be distributed along a set of the teeth and at least one engager member for engaging the elements for moving one or more of the teeth. In such embodiments, at least one pair of the elements can be engaged such that when in use, at least one part of one of the elements in the pair bears against at least one part of the other of the elements in the pair.
Bracket extension system
An orthodontic bracket extension system for orthodontic braces, the orthodontic bracket extension system including a plurality of bracket base extensions each having an aperture in which a corresponding one of a plurality of bracket base can be disposed to increase a bracket bonding surface area for greater securement of each of the plurality of brackets to each of a corresponding plurality of teeth.

ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE FOR CORRECTING MISALIGNMENT OF TEETH
An orthodontic device for treating misalignment of teeth, the device including an anchor having an attachment base and a stem extending upwardly from the attachment base, where the attachment base is configured for mounting the anchor to a patient's tooth. The device further includes an arm with an elongate body having an attachment portion disposed along one end thereof and a bonding portion disposed along an opposite end thereof. The attachment portion includes a notch formed along an end face thereof and a seat in communication with the notch. The arm is removably mountable to the stem via the notch and the seat, the arm being rotatable about a rotational axis relative to the stem to a locked position where the arm is bonded in place to another tooth via the bonding portion for treatment.

DENTAL ARCH AND AIRWAY EXPANDER DEVICE AND METHOD
An oral appliance that attaches to molars or bicuspids and that has the capability for side-to-side expansion and contraction in one unit as a self-stopping mechanism. Further, one embodiment can be activated to compress or expand and be deactivated in two planes of side-to-side or front-to-back, along three different arms/bridges respectively. This is to say that one arm can compress front-to-back while the other arm expands, the jaw/teeth front-to-back, simultaneously. With proper arrangements and anchorage preparation the device shown and described can move front teeth forward or backward or back teeth forward or backward independently on either side of the mouth.
