SET OF BRACKETS FOR ORTHODONTICS
20220192792 · 2022-06-23 · ·

A set of self-ligating brackets for orthodontics includes brackets having a base and a block arranged on the base. An occlusal wall extends from the block and has at least one occlusal ligature wing. A gingival wall extends from the block and has at least one gingival ligature wing. A slot, which separates the occlusal wall and the gingival wall from one another, has the same minimum clear width for the brackets of the set and extends continuously in a direction from mesial to distal. The slot also has a base area on which an archwire lies during orthodontic treatment. A passage extends in the gingival-occlusal direction through the block and is delimited by a lingually located surface and by a labially located surface. Resilient clips with a labial leg and with a lingual leg are interconnected by an occlusally arranged portion.

The disclosure relates to an orthodontic bracket including a ligating member mountable to a bracket body, the ligating member moveable between an open and closed position over an archwire slot. The orthodontic bracket includes a channel formed between the bracket body and the ligating member, and a resilient biasing member extending into the channel, the biasing member interacting with the ligating member to retain the ligating member in either the open or closed position.

Orthodontic device

An orthodontic device can include a bracket configured to support an orthodontic wire. The orthodontic device can include a locking assembly coupled to the bracket and switchable between a plurality of operational modes. The plurality of operational modes can comprise a first sliding mode in which the orthodontic wire is slidable relative to the bracket and a second locked mode in which the orthodontic wire is slidably locked relative to the bracket.

Packaged orthodontic appliances

The present disclosure provides a packaged orthodontic appliance comprising an orthodontic appliance and a packaging base including first and second tie-wing support arms, wherein a first tie-wing support arm supports the first tie-wing of the orthodontic appliance, and the second tie-wing support arm supports the second tie-wing of the orthodontic appliance.

Teeth repositioning systems and methods

Systems and methods of repositioning teeth, using one or more appliances for installing on a patient's teeth are described. The appliance includes an arch shaped member; a plurality of spring members coupled to or provided on the arch shaped member; and a plurality of securing members for securing to a corresponding plurality of the patient's teeth on a one-to-one basis, the securing members being supported by the arch shaped member. The arch shaped member and the plurality of springs, together, comprise a two dimensional structure having a length dimension and a width dimension with varying widths along the length dimension, that is bent into a three dimensional structure.

ORTHODONTIC BRACKET

One aspect of the present invention is a self-ligation type orthodontic bracket which has a simple structure and in which a shutter can be reliably opened and closed, and fixed. The orthodontic bracket is provided with: a bracket body having a slot to which a wire is attached and an introduction port connected to the slot; a shutter provided between the slot and the introduction port to be able to move forward and backward; and a stopper wire which is attached to the bracket body and prevents the shutter from detaching. The stopper wire is elastic. Both end parts of the stopper wire are supported by the bracket body. When the shutter is closed, the central part of the stopper wire is located at a position which blocks the path along which the shutter moves forward and backward.

Orthodontic bracket

An orthodontic bracket is described and which includes an archwire slot for receiving and cooperating with an archwire having a given shape, and wherein the bracket body has multiple forms each having an immovable anterior facing surface which lies in a given plane, and wherein the various forms of the bracket body can be rendered operable to express first, second or third order movement to a patient's tooth undergoing a clinician directed orthodontic treatment.

SELF-LIGATING ORTHODONTIC BRACKET ASSEMBLY
