Self-Ligating Bracket
A self-ligating bracket include a bracket body with an arch wire slot. A mesial recess is located at a mesial side of the bracket body and extends into the bracket body from the arch wire slot. A distal recess is located at a distal side of the bracket body and extends into the bracket body from the arch wire slot. A central ridge defines a ridge surface separated from the lateral ledges respectively by mesial and distal walls. A clip includes a first arm and a second arm connected by a U-shaped portion. The first arm terminates in a mesial arm, a distal arm, and a middle arm. The clip is moveable between an open position in which the arch wire slot is accessible and a closed position in which the arch wire slot is occluded.
TEETH REPOSITIONING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods of repositioning teeth, using one or more appliances for installing on a patient's teeth are described. The appliance includes an arch shaped member; a plurality of spring members coupled to or provided on the arch shaped member; and a plurality of securing members for securing to a corresponding plurality of the patient's teeth on a one-to-one basis, the securing members being supported by the arch shaped member. The arch shaped member and the plurality of springs, together, comprise a two dimensional structure having a length dimension and a width dimension with varying widths along the length dimension, that is bent into a three dimensional structure.

CERAMIC SELF-LIGATING BRACKET WITH HIGH LABIAL PULL STRENGTH
A high-strength, self-ligating appliances with orthodontically desirable dimensions. The appliances incorporate a door slidably engaged to a channel in the body; one that can be opened or closed depending on the equilibrium position of an integral protrusion on the door. Cooperating grooves and rails on the body and the door can guide the door between the open and closed positions, and mitigate against unintentional detachment. Appliances including rails that result in improved labial pull strength are disclosed.

SELF-LIGATING BRACKET FOR ORTHODONTICS
A self-ligating bracket for orthodontics, includes: a groove for receiving an archwire; a slide which can be displaced between a closed position in which it bridges the groove and an open position in which the groove is open; and means which can hold the slide both in its closed position and in its open position. These means contain, in the gingival and/or in the occlusal wall, a recess which is open towards the slide and in which a locking element is inserted which is directed against the slide. The locking element is displaceably guided in the recess and has elastically or elastomerically bendable tines which, when the slide is pushed over the convex end of the locking element, are displaced deeper into the recess, thereby being elastically or elastomerically bent and thereby building up a restoring force.
Dalman orthodontic bracket
An orthodontic bracket assembly treatment system comprising a bracket base and at least two rigid selectable bracket covers slidably engageable with the bracket base wherein the selectable at least two rigid selectable bracket covers are removably slidably couplable to said bracket base by slidably engaging the upper lip with the upper retention element and the lower lip with the lower retention element and wherein the width of the face of a first one of the at least two rigid selectable bracket covers is wider than the width of the face of a second one of the at least two rigid bracket covers and can be selectively releasably attached to the base during a treatment such that the treatment utilizes either the first bracket cover or the second bracket cover depending on a patient's treatment needs at a stage of the treatment.
Orthodontic bracket
An orthodontic bracket includes a platform base having a posterior facing surface and is matingly and releasably positioned adjacent to an anterior facing surface of a patient's tooth. The patient's tooth is subject to a multiple step orthodontic treatment regimen. The platform base remains affixed to the patient's tooth throughout the multiple step orthodontic treatment regimen selected by the treating clinician.
Orthodontic Appliance with Increased Torsional Control
An orthodontic appliance, orthodontic brackets and orthodontic methods are provided. An orthodontic appliance can include a plurality of orthodontic brackets. Each orthodontic bracket of the orthodontic appliance can include a bracket base for bonding the orthodontic bracket to a respective tooth and a bracket body extending from the bracket base. The bracket body can define an archwire slot having 0.020-inch slot height and 0.026-inch slot depth and adapted to retain an archwire having a 0.019-inch wire height and a 0.025-inch wire depth. The plurality of orthodontic brackets can include a first orthodontic bracket and second orthodontic bracket. The first orthodontic bracket can be installable on either a left side of an oral cavity or a right side of the oral cavity on the same row of teeth. The second orthodontic bracket can be substantially identical to the first orthodontic bracket.
