MULTI-USE ARTICLE WITH QUICK RELEASE CLOSURE
20230240394 · 2023-08-03 ·

A multi-use article having a blanket having inward-facing and outward-facing sides and a cover mounted to the inward-facing side of the blanket. The cover may be worn by a wearer by being placed onto and covering at least a portion of a torso of the wearer and, when worn, to carry the blanket. A head opening permits a head of the wearer to extend out of the cover when the cover is placed onto the torso of the wearer. Arm openings allow arms of the wearer to extend out of the cover when the cover is placed onto the torso of the wearer. Shoulder contact portions are located adjacent opposing sides of the head opening. Each shoulder contact portion contacts a shoulder of the wearer when the cover is placed onto the torso of the wearer such that the cover is carried on the shoulders of the wearer.

Apparatus and method for powering a garment

A lawn mower or stand-on powered drivable machine has an electrical port that receives current from an alternator powered by the engine or motor. The port receives a plug from a garment worn by the lawn mower operator. The garment includes one or more thermo-electric elements that are powered from current extending through the port. The thermo-electric (TEC) elements may be resistive heaters to warm the operator or TEC coolers to cool the operator. Furthermore, the garment may include a rechargeable battery that powers the thermo-electric elements when the plug is disconnected from the port.

Cold weather vented garment

The present invention relates to breathable, vented, and insulating cold weather garments. More particularly, the present invention relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Perforations along the seams between the insulating chambers may achieve optimal evaporative moisture transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment.

WARMING COAT

The present invention discloses a warming coat, which belongs to the field of clothes. The warming coat includes a first coat layer, a second coat layer and a heating layer disposed between the first coat layer and the second coat layer, the heating layer including a heating element; and the warming coat further includes a first heat-reflecting layer disposed between one of the first coat layer and the second coat layer and the heating layer. The present invention is used for warming.

GARMENT FOR UPRIGHT SLEEPING

Aspects herein are directed to an upper-body garment that facilitates upright sleeping. The garment includes an inner hood with a mesh elastic panel that is adapted to be positioned across the wearer's forehead helping to anchor the inner hood on to the wearer's head. The inner hood includes a low stretch or no stretch center panel. The center panel extends from the mesh elastic panel, down the center back of the inner hood, and further extends on to a back aspect of a torso portion of the garment where it forms a center portion of the back of the upper-body garment. Because the center panel has low stretch or no stretch, the wearer's head and neck are held in an upright or generally upright position when the inner hood is donned. The upper-body garment further includes a large volume outer hood positioned external to the inner hood.
