An autograft forming bone anchor is provided including an elongated anchor core having a tip at a distal end and coupled to a head at a proximal end, and a segmented helical thread defining one or more gaps therein, each gap defining at least a trailing wall, the trailing wall having a cutting surface including at least one cutting edge. A plane of the cutting surface that extends through a point of contact of the cutting surface with the anchor core and the cutting edge, is angled at an angle (α) with respect to a radius (r) of the bone anchor, and the bone cutting surface and the cutting edge are configured to cut bone and guide bone fragments radially inwards. Other embodiments are also described.

IMPROVED SELF-TAPPING DENTAL IMPLANT
20220249207 · 2022-08-11 ·

A dental implant includes an implant body extending along a longitudinal axis between a crown end and an apical end, the implant body having a core along which a helical thread extends with at least one thread, the core being tapered towards the apical end on at least one section of the length of the dental implant. At least two tapping grooves are arranged in the thread. The grooves interrupt the thread, so that the thread includes a series of consecutive thread arcs. Each thread arc has an apical surface oriented towards the apical end of the dental implant, and a crown surface oriented towards the crown end of the dental implant. A peripheral lateral surface connects the apical surface and the crown surface of the thread arc. In at least one section of the dental implant in which the core is tapered, at least one thread arc has a radial offset.

Three-dimensional stabilization thread form for dental implants

An implant for insertion within a maxillofacial bone of a patient including a tapered body and one or more threads formed along the body. The one or more threads on one or more lead threads include multiple thread forms including both three-dimensional stabilization thread and standard thread (e.g. v-thread, buttress thread, etc.) forms. The one or more threads including the multiple thread forms provides for maximizing the restriction of lateral movement of the implant within a full or partial osteotomy.

Dental Implant

A dental implant that facilitate insertion and can be used in all bone types. The implant includes a body having a coronal end, and an apical end opposite the coronal end. A tapered region may be adjacent the apical end. On the apical part one or more taps are provided so the tap is cutting when rotating clockwise and counter-clockwise. The implant can have at least one variable profile helical thread that extends along the tapered region. The implant can have also micro-threads below the main threads, a gradual compressing tapered core, a self drilling apical end and a narrow coronal region.

DENTAL SCREW

Dental screw which can be inserted into a cavity of a patient's maxillary and/or mandibular bone, including a terminal portion that can be inserted into the cavity so as to fit within it and so as to engage a side wall thereof. The dental screw further includes a cervical portion, configured to engage an artificial tooth structure, and a central portion extending longitudinally between the terminal portion and the cervical portion. The central portion is shaped as a porous structure, particularly as a trabecular structure, to promote an intraosseous regrowth process. The dental screw is further characterised in that the terminal portion, the central portion and the cervical portion are made from a single piece.

Condensing skeletal implant that facilitate insertions

A dental implant that facilitates insertion includes a body having a coronal end and an apical end opposite the coronal end. An implant-prosthetic interface region is provided adjacent the coronal end. A tapered region is adjacent the apical end. A variable profile helical thread extends along the tapered region. The thread becomes broader in the apical-coronal direction and higher in the coronal-apical direction. The threads include an apical side, a coronal side and a lateral edge connecting them. The variable profile thread includes an expanding length of the lateral edge while the distance of the lateral edge from the base is reduced in the direction of the coronal end. The implant also has a gradual compressing tapered core, a self drilling apical end with a spiral tap, and a coronal end with and inverse tapering.

OSSEOUS ANCHORING IMPLANT WITH OPTIMIZED EXPANSION
20210315619 · 2021-10-14 ·

An osseous anchoring implant with optimized expansion, having a tubular body and a rod whose external profile of the rod and internal profile of the tubular body are complementary. The implant being expandable between a rest configuration in which an abutment mechanism interlocks the tubular body and the rod thanks to the reversal of their two respective screw pitches, so that they provide in an expanded configuration radially: a proximal bearing point, a distal bearing point, a “central” bearing point located between these two bearing points, formed by the cooperation between the outer diameter of the rod and the inner diameter of the tubular body which induce an outer diameter of the tubular body at the “central” level greater than the outer diameter of the tubular body at the proximal bearing point.
