DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental implant intended for insertion into the jawbone of a patient and having a base body which is provided with a circumferential external thread in an apically arranged screw region on its outer side is intended, on the one hand, to permit a particularly high primary and secondary stability and thus to particularly favor the healing process and, on the other hand, to facilitate in a particularly favorable manner the containment or treatment of an inflammation which may occur in the surrounding bone tissue. For this purpose, according to the invention, the base body is designed to be thread-free in a proximal shaft region provided in addition to the screw region.
Dental implant
A dental implant including a core; at least one screw thread; a first and second region; a central axis; the surface of the core defining an angle with the central axis in the first region and with the central axis in the second region; and the surface of the screw thread defining an angle with the central axis in the first region and with the central axis in the second region. The diameter of the core decreases at a rate in the first region towards the apical end such that the core defining angle is greater than the screw thread defining angle, and the diameter of the core decreases at a rate in the second region towards the apical end such that the core defining angle is the same as the screw thread defining angle. Furthermore, an implant including at least one helical chamber including a depth and length.
DENTAL IMPLANT TO BE PLACED IN THE POSTERIOR UPPER JAW
A dental implant implantable in the upper rear maxilla following the lifting of the sinus membrane of the maxillary sinus by the crestal approach has a body with a shank shape. The body includes a main portion and, on opposite sides thereof, a first crestal proximal portion and a second apical distal part. The body is provided with a threading having a spiral shape with cutting edges. The threading extends in spiral fashion only about and along the main portion of the body and terminates before the second apical distal part, while the second apical distal part is conformed to provide an external surface free of projecting or cutting parts, and is at lest partially provided annularly with a groove or a series of grooves.
DENTAL IMPLANT
The present invention relates to the field of dental implants, and more specifically to optimization of the macrogeometry of the implant to improve osseointegration. To achieve this improvement, the dental implant (1) contains cylindrical recesses (2) extending from the tip of the thread (6) towards the body of the implant (4), enabling improved blood irrigation, less insertion torque without losing primary stability, and creating osseointegration chambers.
DENTAL IMPLANTS HAVING GOLDEN RATIO
A dental implant that comprises a top section having a C first length, an intermediate section having a second length, and a bottom section having a third length, wherein the first length corresponds to the third length by a preset ratio, wherein the third length corresponds to the sum of the first length and the second length by the preset ratio, and wherein the preset ratio is in the range of 1.5-1.7.
Bone anchor fixture for a medical prosthesis
A screw-shaped anchoring fixture for anchoring a prosthesis in the skull bone. The anchoring fixture comprises a main body configured to be implanted into the bone and a flange configured to function as a stop to prevent the main body from completely penetrating through the bone. The main body comprises a distal tapered apical portion, a first portion, and a second portion. The inner diameter of the second portion is greater than the inner diameter of the first portion. The method for inserting the anchoring fixture includes providing the anchoring fixture, drilling a hole, and inserting the anchoring fixture into the hole until the flange contacts the skull bone, wherein the hole has a diameter that is greater than the inner diameter of the first portion and less than the outer diameter of the second portion.
Dental implant system
A screw type dental implant system (1), having a dental implant fixture (2), a multifunctional component (3) and an abutment screw (4). The screw shape dental implant fixture has an external surface having buttress threads on the body and micro threads at the collar. This combination provides the advantages of: improved biomechanics at the implant abutment interface, self-tapping nature to the implant, and minimizing the stresses at the crest of the bone leading to decrease resorption of crestal bone. The multifunctional component serves the purposes of implant mount, impression analog and final abutment and has a single prosthetic platform so one component is compatible with different implant dimensions, which minimizes the inventory needed for the implant system and allows easy handling of the system. The multifunctional component also has an external concave transmucosal portion for enhancing the emergence profile and internal threads for securing the abutment screw.
OSSEOUS ANCHORING IMPLANT WITH CORTICAL STABILIZATION
An osseous anchoring implant with cortical stabilization, including an expandable sleeve having a first threading inside and a second threading outside, a screw having an external profile complementary to the internal profile of said expandable sleeve and an external threading with a reverse screw pitch of the second threading. The implant switching from a folded rest position to a deployed position by the actuation of said reversed threadings, causing the penetration of the screw into the expandable sleeve and generating the radial expansion of said expandable sleeve by deformation on a distal portion. In the deployed position, the expandable sleeve has a frustoconical shape. The proximal portion of the screw includes an outer osseous anchoring threading and a frustoconical portion whose flaring is reversed relative to that of the expandable sleeve in the deployed position.
Angulated dental implant
A dental implant includes a generally cylindrical body, an interior bore, and a non-rotational feature. The generally cylindrical body has a main-central axis and is formed from cold-worked, high strength, commercially pure titanium having an ultimate tensile strength of at least about 900 MPa. The generally cylindrical body has a proximal portion and an opposing distal portion for anchoring the dental implant in bone of a patient. The interior bore is formed in the generally cylindrical body and has (i) a bore-central axis and (ii) a threaded portion for receiving a screw that is configured to removable hold an abutment in engagement with the dental implant. The non-rotational feature is configured to engage the abutment in a non-rotational fashion.
DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
A dental implant whereby an osteotomy cavity is formed in jawbone and then a base member of the implant is positioned into the cavity. The base member serves as a platform to secure an abutment member of the implant that in turn receives a dental restoration, such as a crown or denture.
