Calculation device
A calculation device for a work machine comprising a holding head including a holding tool configured to hold a lead component comprising a lead and a body and a moving device configured to move the holding head, the calculation device calculating a release position of the lead component held by the holding tool, when the work machine mounts the lead component on a board by inserting the lead of the lead component held by the holding tool into a hole formed on the board by operating the moving device.
Work machine
A work machine including a work head including a holding tool to pick up and hold a component, a rotating device to rotate the holding tool about an axis of the holding tool, a pivoting device to pivot the holding tool between a first attitude in which a distal end portion of the holding tool faces downward and a second attitude in which the distal end portion of the holding tool faces sideways; a moving device to move the work head; and a control device to control operation of the work head and the moving device, the control device including an operation control section to cause the holding tool to pivot from the first attitude to the second attitude, and to cause the holding tool to rotate from a holding angle that is a rotation angle when the component was picked up to a target angle.
PATTERN-EDGED METAL-PLANE RESONANCE-SUPPRESSION
Apparatuses and methods are provided for mitigating radio frequency interference and electromagnetic compatibility issues caused by the resonance of metal planes of a circuit board. A method for controlling impedance at an edge of a circuit board includes creating a cut at an edge of a plane of the circuit board. The cut extends from the edge of the plane to a point at a depth into the plane. The method can further include creating a cut pattern in the edge of the plane by repeating the cut along the edge of the plane such that an impedance of the plane at the depth is different, or lower, than an impedance of the plane at the edge of the plane. Other aspects are described.
Substrate work system under adjustable rail spacing distance
A board work system including: a conveying and holding device including a pair of rails configured to support a board, and a changing mechanism configured to change a distance between the pair of rails, the conveying and holding device being configured to convey the board supported by the rails and hold the board at a work position; a work device configured to perform work with respect to the board held by the conveying and holding device from an underside of the board; a moving device configured to move the work device; and a control device, the control device including an acquiring section configured to acquire a rail spacing distance that is the distance between the pair of rails, and an operation control section configured to control operation of the moving device based on the rail spacing distance acquired by the acquiring section.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A PARAMETERIZED WAVEGUIDE OPTICAL ELEMENTS
A method and system for generating a physical layout for a grating coupler integrated in a photonically-enabled circuit are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the method receives a parametrized wavelength, a parametrized first refractive index, a parametrized second refractive index, a parametrized taper length, a parametrized width, a parametrized grating length, and a parametrized incident angle of the optical beam incident onto the grating coupler and generates a physical layout for the grating coupler based on the received parametrized inputs, the generating of the physical layout is according to a predefined model, and outputs the physical layout of the grating coupler for manufacturing under a semiconductor fabrication process.

Control Device
When a specification setting unit sets a specification of a lot number “k+1” after setting a specification of a lot number “k”, a mounting program selector performs a mounting program corresponding to the lot number “k”, and then selects a mounting program corresponding to the lot number “k+1” according to matching between a mounting number from the mounting program and a planned number of products of the lot number “k”. A printing program selector selects a printing program corresponding to the lot number “k”, and then selects a printing program corresponding to the lot number “k+1” according to matching between a sum of a printing number from the printing program and a defective product number and the planned number of products of the lot number “k”. Consequently, on-demand production of an electronic device can easily be manufactured on a manufacturing line.
MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR COMPONENT MOUNTING LINE
A component mounter images suction states of components picked up by a suction nozzle, processes images of the suction states of the components to recognize the suction state of the component, and stores the images in a storage device with linking production information related to the components. An inspection machine images a mounted state of each component on a board, processes an image of mounted state of each component to recognize the mounted state of each component, and inspects whether a mounting error occurred for each component based on the recognition result. The inspection machine determines that a mounting error occurred for any of the components the image of the mounted state of the component for which a mounting error was determined to have occurred and a searched image of the suction state of the component are displayed on the display monitor in a comparative manner.
DIRECT INKJET PRINTING OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
The disclosure relates to methods for direct ink jet printing of printed circuits' infrastructure. Specifically, the disclosure relates to methods for direct inkjet printing of heatdissipation elements and sockets for use in printed circuit boards (PCBs), flexible printed circuits (FPCs) and high-density interconnect (HDI) printed circuits.
