Method and system for dental implantation
A method provides a modular dental implant. The modular dental implant has (a) an implant apex comprising an internal fastening surface; (b) a first hollow implant body segment; (c) an abutment having a screw access hole; and (d) a fastening screw. The method also entails fastening the external fastening surface of the first hollow implant body segment to the internal fastening surface of the implant apex; and screwing the fastening screw (i) through the abutment and the first hollow implant body segment, and (ii) into the implant apex, when the abutment, the first hollow implant body segment, and the implant apex are fastened together.
Hybrid Dental Implant and Production Method
A dental implant includes an insert element of a titanium-based material inserted and soldered into a blind hole in an anchoring element of a ceramic material. An outer surface of the insert element has spacer members to center the insert element in the blind hole, with a uniform circumferential gap space relative to the anchoring element. The insert element is longer than the blind hole, so that a portion of the insert element protrudes outwardly beyond an end face of the anchoring element. The blind hole is partly filled with a glass solder suspension, and the insert element is inserted into the blind hole, whereby an excess amount of the glass solder is displaced out of the gap space onto the end face of the anchoring element and the protruding portion of the insert element. A thermal soldering process secures the insert element into the anchoring element. The protruding portion of the insert element and remaining excess solder is removed to form a planar surface.
BONE COUPLING DEVICE AND METHOD
A bone coupling device is configured for joining a first bone piece to a second bone piece which includes a first component having an inner surface bounding a first cavity and a first stem portion for insertion into the first bone piece. A second component includes a second stem portion for insertion into the second bone piece and an axially extending connector extending from the second stem portion and configured to be inserted into the first cavity. The connector has an outer surface which is complementarily shaped relative to an inner surface to inhibit rotation relative to each other when the connector is received in the cavity to engage the first component and the second component.
Renewable dental implant
The present invention relates to an endosseous implant assembly adapted for treatment of peri-implantitis. The implant assembly comprises an implant core body configured to receive and couple with implant insert structures that potentially facilitate treatment of peri-implantitis.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CUSTOMIZED ARTIFICIAL TOOTH AND CUSTOMIZED ARTIFICIAL TOOTH
Provided is a method of manufacturing a customized artificial tooth and a customized artificial tooth. A method of manufacturing a customized artificial tooth includes acquiring image information on an image of an alveolar bone and a tooth using computed tomography (CT) scanning, wherein slope information generated according to inclination degrees of a crown part and a root part of a tooth in an XYZ three-dimensional (3D) space is acquired together with image information such as root shape information of a tooth in which an implant is to be implanted; generating output modeling data in which a screw groove is formed, such that the screw groove in which the slope information is reflected is formed in the implant to be implanted in a tooth-extracted part of the tooth; and manufacturing the implant in which the screw groove is formed, using a 3D printer based on the output modeling data.
Method and system for dental implantation
A modular dental implant that includes multiple segments that are connected to each other in a sequential manner to form the modular dental implant; wherein the multiple segments comprise an abutment, at least one implant body segment and at least one other segment; wherein the at least one other segment is an implant apex, an implant neck or at least one implant body segment.
EASILY RETRIEVABLE IMPLANT-ABUTMENT DEVICE
The present invention relates to an implant-abutment comprising: a fixture, which is coupled to an alveolar bone and comprises on the inside thereof a female tapered part having a tapered shape; an abutment, which has one side comprising a male tapered part, which has a shape corresponding to the female tapered part so as to be coupled to the female tapered part in an engaging manner, and the other side having a prosthesis coupled thereto; and an elastic part provided between the female tapered part, and the male tapered part so as for the abutment to move between a locking position, in which the abutment stays coupled to the fixture and is inhibited from moving away from the alveolar bone, and a sinking position, in which the abutment moves and sinks toward the alveolar bone by the occlusal force of occluding teeth. Configured as such, the present invention allows slight movement under a predetermined external, force by the occlusal force of teeth while stably maintaining the state of being coupled to the fixture and allows the abutment to be separated and easily retrieved from the fixture, if necessary, by the application of an external force equal to or greater than a target coupling force whereby the fixture and abutment stay coupled.
MULTI-PIECE ABUTMENT AND DIGITAL METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF A DENTAL IMPLANT SURGICAL SITE FOR THE PROMOTION OF A DESIRED EMERGENT SULCUS
A patient-specific dental implant abutment may comprise an abutment base that attaches to a dental implant, the abutment base comprising a base top, a base bottom, and a base side, the base side continuously connecting the base top and base bottom together, the abutment base constructed to removably attach to a dental implant. The device may further comprise a set of abutment caps, each abutment cap comprising a cap top connected to the cap bottom, the cap bottom removably attaching to the top of an abutment base in a manner that the cap top does not contact an emergent sulcus, wherein each abutment cap has a different cap top that is constructed to handle at least one function relating to a phase of a dental implant surgery.
