Shape detection method, shape detection system, and program
To easily and quickly detect a predetermined shape on an object. A shape detection method for detecting the shape of an object, the method comprising: a step of acquiring data indicating three-dimensional point group data from the object by a sensor, a step of displaying the three-dimensional point group data in a display area of a terminal, a step of acquiring the display area in which the three-dimensional point group data is displayed, as two-dimensional image data, and a step of performing image analysis on the two-dimensional image data, and detecting a predetermined shape of the object.
ROBOTIC SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING AN APPARATUS
A method of assembling an apparatus. The method includes configuring a robotic device to operate in a first mode of a plurality of modes, wherein the robotic device is positionable to inspect a predetermined feature on a first component when in the first mode. The method also includes determining an expected value for a measurable parameter of the predetermined feature when inspected by the robotic device, wherein the expected value is determined based on which of the plurality of modes the robotic device is operating. The method further includes directing the robotic device to inspect the first component to determine an actual value for the measurable parameter, and verifying an identity of the first component based on a comparison between the expected value and the actual value.
Portable coordinate measurement machine having a handle that includes electronics
A portable articulated arm coordinate measurement machine (AACMM) is provided. The AACMM having a manually positionable articulated arm having first and second ends, the arm including a plurality of connected arm segments, each of the arm segments including at least one position transducer for producing position signals, at least one of the position signals passing between two of the arm segments through a first slip ring assembly. A first a first electronic circuit is provided that receives the position signals. A base section is connected to the second end. A probe assembly includes a probe end and a cover. The cover rotates about an axis extending through the probe assembly, the cover having at least one indentation formed thereon. The probe assembly is connected to the first end. The AACMM measures a three-dimensional coordinate of a point in space associated with the probe end.
Control Device, Robot And Control Method
A control device adapted to control a robot including a robot arm provided with a force detector includes a processor that is configured to execute computer-executable instructions so as to control the robot, wherein the processor is configured to: operate the robot arm to move a screw gauge which is disposed on a tip side of the force detector of the robot arm, used for an inspection of a screw hole, and provided with an external thread, to make the external thread have contact with the screw hole; then detect force applied to the screw gauge using the force detector to perform force control in a direction perpendicular to a direction of an axis of the screw hole based on detection information of the force detector; and operate the robot arm to move the screw gauge based on the force control.
