A dental superstructure, and a manufacturing method thereof, comprising a screw-channel (1), through which screw-channel a screw member is to be inserted, and a screw member seat (3), for providing support to the head of said screw member during fixation of said dental superstructure to a spacer element or an implant (5), are provided. Said dental superstructure is provided with a central axis of said screw-channel (1) and a central axis of said second mouth (4) that at least partly do not coincide. A manufacturing method thereof, a screw-member, and a screwdriver are also provided.

Fixation Base and Guides for Dental Prosthesis Installation

Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.

Additive manufactured dental implants and methods thereof

A monolithic dental implant formed from an additive manufacturing method can include a non-porous portion and a porous structure. The porous structure can increase osseointegration of the dental implant and increase the secondary stability.

DENTAL SUPERSTRUCTURE WITH CURVED CHANNEL AND METHOD OF FORMING A CURVED CHANNEL THEREIN
20180078345 · 2018-03-22 ·

A dental superstructure and a method of forming a curved channel therein for a fixing element by using a computer-controlled device. A dental superstructure is fixed, preferably through an intermediate piece (interface), to a dental implant integrated in the jaw bone by means of a fixing element (typically a screw) through an outlet provided with a shoulder. To allow the insertion of the fixing element, a channel is formed in the superstructure between an inlet formed in the superstructure at its side facing the oral cavity and the shoulder of the outlet. The outlet having a diameter corresponding to a threaded part of the fixing element is usually formed in a separate working process.

PASSIVE FIT OF IMPLANT BRIDGES AND IMPLANT BARS BY MEANS OF A CAD/CAM TOOL FOR THE MODEL-FREE CREATION OF IMPLANT-SUPPORTED RESTORATIONS
20180042707 · 2018-02-15 · ·

The invention relates to a specimen part (1) for creating a stress-free fit, a so-called passive fit, of implant-supported and/or abutment-supported bridges (2) and bars (3) by means of a CAD/CAM tool for the creation of restorations (5), and to a method for creating a restoration from a digital model (15) of a patient's jaw provided with at least two implants and/or abutments, wherein the model (15) is determined by means of an intraoral scan (14). In order to improve the precision of restorations and to shorten the production process, provision is made that the specimen part (1) per implant (4) and/or abutment has a scannable structure (6), preferably at a defined distance (7) and angle (8) to the implant (4) and/or abutment. In the method according to the invention, a specimen part (1) is produced from the model (15) by means of CAD/CAM, the specimen part (1) is checked in terms of its dimensional match to at least two implants (4) and/or abutments and if necessary is corrected, the specimen part (1) is scanned, and a digital model (15) of the optionally altered specimen part (1) is generated, which model is used to generate a restoration (16) manufactured by CAD/CAM.

FIXING PIN SUPPORT FOR DENTAL PROSTHESES AND METHOD OF THE MANUFACTURING THEREOF

An improved fixing pin support for a dental prosthesis in order to be able to connect the dental prosthesis to a jaw by means of fixing pins which can each be moved through a guide bore in the fixing pin support. The improved fixing pin support has a guide sleeve separate from it which can be temporarily fitted over the fixing pin support so that the guide bore can be formed in the fixing pin support through a guide channel in the guide sleeve, by precise guidance of a drill. After this, the guide sleeve can be removed from the fixing pin support.
