The element had an internal seat (4) for a screw head (5) which fixes the implant, and a lower base (6). A side mortise (7) is provided that covers the upper section (b) and provides a side opening for the inclined entrance of the screw (5) and screwdriver (8). The element further includes two flat surfaces (9) at diametrically opposite sides of the lower section.
Device, system and method for prosthodontic restoration
This disclosed subject matter relates to dental implants in general, and in particular to dental implants having an abutment for mounting a prosthodontic restoration thereon, wherein the abutment is customizable and/or adjustable that may be configured according an individual's morphology, clinical situation and related prosthodontic requirements.
ADAPTOR FOR ADJUSTABLY MOUNTING A STRUCTURE ONTO A BIOLOGICAL BASE
Disclosed is a medical adaptor generally featuring an adaptor body extending from a fitment end towards a perch. The adaptor further comprises a fitment extending away from the fitment end, and a mortar extending away and integral with the fitment, to terminate at the perch. The adaptor also features a shrinkable collet comprising a collet face and a collet hole extended from a collet hole towards a collet tail. A collet bolt is threaded into the collet hole such that collet is avoided from getting shrunk and, is locked at a desired angular position.
MULTI-UNIT DENTAL ASSEMBLY WITH OFF-AXIS FEATURE
A dental assembly includes a prosthesis having a base and a plurality of artificial teeth, and at least one connecting element coupled to the prosthesis and configured to facilitate coupling of the dental assembly to a patient's oral cavity. The at least one connecting element includes a cylinder with a body having a first end, a second end, and a passageway extending between the first and second ends. The connecting element further includes an opening through a sidewall of the cylinder that is open to the passageway. The slot allows access to a fixation screw positioned in the cylinder from a direction that is angled relative to an axis of the cylinder. A method of making a dental assembly is also disclosed.
BALL-TYPE ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR OVERDENTURES, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING OVERDENTURES TO WHICH BALL-TYPE ATTACHMENT IS APPLIED
Disclosed are a ball-type attachment device for an overdenture and and a method of producing overdenture to which ball-type attachments are applied. The ball-type attachment device for overdentures according to the present invention relates to an attachment device for implant-supporting overdenture, which includes an abutment configured such that a ball-shaped coupling protrusion is formed at the exposed distal end thereof, and a retainer configured to be separably fitted over the coupling protrusion by a fitting method. The retainer includes: a cushion part made of an elastically deformable material, and configured such that a coupling recession having a shape corresponding to the ball shape of the coupling protrusion is formed so as to allow the coupling protrusion to be separably inserted and fitted into the cushion part; and a fastening part configured to be fastened to the overdenture, and configured such that an accommodation recession configured to accommodate the cushion part is formed so as to allow the cushion part to be inserted and fitted into the fastening part.
BENDABLE PROSTHESIS POST AND ANGULAR ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A bendable prosthetic abutment includes a guiding and anchoring segment, a connection zone, for connecting to an implant arranged on a gingival tissue for receiving a prosthetic abutment model, an intermediate restriction for angular orientation, a mounting and fastening portion forming an upper portion of the bondable prosthetic abutment for receiving a prosthesis, and a sacrificial and anchoring zone which has a diameter greater than a diameter of the connection zone so as to define a protuberant ring-shaped shoulder arranged between the intermediate restriction (4) and the connection zone (2) for connecting to an implant and anchoring in a cavity.
DENTAL IMPLANT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A dental implant device and system, and in particular to a dental implant abutment that is personally configured and easily implemented by a practitioner. The dental implant device in the form of an abutment base featuring a body having a dual functioning single internal connection interface including a central channel and a seat the body featuring a distal portion comprising an anchor coupling interface; and a proximal portion comprising the dual functioning single internal connection interface wherein the seat is disposed adjacent to a proximal surface of the proximal portion.
OMNI-DIRECTIONAL MULTI-UNIT ABUTMENT DENTAL SYSTEMS
Multi-unit abutments aligning dental implants and a prosthesis with copings have a base for implant attachment with a ball and swivel shell at least partially surrounding the ball. The swivel shell is preferentially inelastically deformed to make contact at or above and below the equator of the ball. The forming process restricts motion to swiveling action when a predetermined torque threshold is exceeded. A tool passing through the lock screw may drive the post of the base into the implant with the multi-unit assembly in a linear configuration. The swivel shell is then positioned and fixed at desired tilt and azimuthal angles. In some embodiments, a lock screw remains accessible through an aperture in the prosthesis when positioned on the implant abutment. Copings may be attached with screws or snap-on features. Methods for improving passive alignment of the prosthesis and implants are described.
Device for Determining a Suitable Angulation of an Abutment for a Dental Implant, and Arrangement Comprising such a Device
A device is provided for determining the angulation of an abutment for a dental implant. The device includes a conical projection extending from a housing. The conical projection is adapted for insertion into a hole in the dental implant. A rotary body is disposed in the housing and is rotatable among a plurality of different angular positions relative to the conical projection. A rod-shaped indicator is connected to the rotary body. The rotary body can be secured to the housing in one of the angular positions by a locking device. The device may be part of an assembly that includes an indicator device having a receiving opening for accommodating the conical projection and an indicator scale that includes a plurality of marked sectors corresponding to a plurality of predefined abutments, respectively. The location of the rod-shaped indicator relative to the marked sectors indicates the predefined abutment that should be selected.
DENTAL CONNECTION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The present invention relates to a connection assembly for attaching a dental component to a dental implant, a dental component for the connection assembly and a method to use the connection assembly. The connection assembly (100; 1100; 2100; 3100) is removably attachable to the dental implant (10; 1010; 2010; 3010), preferably with the dental component (20; 1020; 2020; 3020) attached to the connection assembly, and a dental component is attachable to the connection assembly in a pre-fastened state or a fastened state. The pre-fastened state, when the connection assembly is attached to the dental implant, the connection assembly allows for adjustment of a relative position and/or orientation between the dental component and the dental implant. In the fastened state, the relative position and/or orientation between the dental component and the connection assembly is fixed, while the connection assembly is in particular detachable from the dental implant with the dental component attached to the connection assembly in the fastened state.
