The element had an internal seat (4) for a screw head (5) which fixes the implant, and a lower base (6). A side mortise (7) is provided that covers the upper section (b) and provides a side opening for the inclined entrance of the screw (5) and screwdriver (8).
MULTI-COMPONENT DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
Dental implants for fixed and removable prosthetic devices, having application to single tooth replacement, e.g., caps and crowns, and multiple tooth replacement using one or more implants, e.g., bridges, and multiple implants for full and partial prosthetic devices. Dental implants include an implant and an abutment configured to mate with the implant in a non-rotatable fashion. The implant may have a cylindrical or a non-cylindrical shape. In one embodiment, the dental implant includes a first stage implant and a second stage implant. The second stage implant is interconnectable to the first stage implant and includes an abutment with an anatomical emergence profile. Further, dental reconstruction and abutment installation methods utilizing the dental implant systems and instruments are disclosed. Also provided are impression taking procedures, and impression copings that produce an accurate fit between the dental prosthesis and the dental implant.
Interface element for dental prostheses
An interface element for dental prostheses, having a hollow cylindrical body with two different sections, one lower section (a) of greater outer diameter and another upper section (b) of smaller outer diameter, each provided externally with retention circular grooves (2). The element had an internal seat (4) for a screw head (5) which fixes the implant, and a lower base (6). A side mortise (7) is provided that covers the upper section (b) and provides a side opening for the inclined entrance of the screw (5) and screwdriver (8). The element further includes two flat surfaces (9) at diametrically opposite sides of the lower section.
CICATRISATION ELEMENT FOR RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Cicatrisation element capable of a connection to a dental implant (60), comprising a lateral surface (13) designed to be integrated inside a gum in order to structurize the gum during its cicatrisation, and a terminal surface (14), characterized in that one portion of the lateral surface (13) and of the terminal surface (14) forms an emergent surface which is asymmetrical with respect to at least a median perpendicular plane and in that the emergent surface comprises at least two informative markers (70) making it possible to identify at least two characteristics of said cicatrisation element and/or of a post base (1) and/or of said dental implant (60) to which it will be connected.
Double-cushioned dental implant
An dental implant has a substantially cylindrical solid base member; an abutment; an implant-abutment junction (IAJ) portion at one end of the base member to retain the abutment to the base member, so that the abutment is able to move within a predetermined distance in an axial direction of the base member, a first cushion adapted to be mounted between the abutment and the base member, and a second cushion, preferably an elastomer, which is sandwiched between the IAJ portion and the abutment, wherein the first and second cushion are able to provide a resistance force when the abutment is pressed to move relatively toward the base member and providing a bouncing back force when the abutment is released from the pressing.
MULTI-UNIT DENTAL ASSEMBLY WITH OFF-AXIS FEATURE
A dental assembly includes a prosthesis having a base and a plurality of artificial teeth, and at least one connecting element coupled to the prosthesis and configured to facilitate coupling of the dental assembly to a patient's oral cavity. The at least one connecting element includes a cylinder with a body having a first end, a second end, and a passageway extending between the first and second ends. The connecting element further includes an opening through a sidewall of the cylinder that is open to the passageway. The slot allows access to a fixation screw positioned in the cylinder from a direction that is angled relative to an axis of the cylinder. A method of making a dental assembly is also disclosed.
Angulated Dental Implant
A dental implant includes a generally cylindrical body, an interior bore, and a non-rotational feature. The generally cylindrical body has a main-central axis and is formed from cold-worked, high strength, commercially pure titanium having an ultimate tensile strength of at least about 900 MPa. The generally cylindrical body has a proximal portion and an opposing distal portion for anchoring the dental implant in bone of a patient. The interior bore is formed in the generally cylindrical body and has (i) a bore-central axis and (ii) a threaded portion for receiving a screw that is configured to removable hold an abutment in engagement with the dental implant. The non-rotational feature is configured to engage the abutment in a non-rotational fashion.
DENTAL SUB-ASSEMBLY FOR INDIVIDUAL PROSTHETIC RESTORATION OF A TOOTH, AND A FIRST ELEMENT INTENDED TO BE JOINED THERETO
A dental sub-assembly for individual prosthetic restoration of a tooth is shaped so as to be received on a dental implant. The dental sub-assembly is able to be assembled with a first element in the form of a core on which stratification is performed, or in the form of a ceramic core. The first element has a first through-passage. The dental sub-assembly includes a ring intended to be fitted into the first through-passage of the first element and to be retained firmly in order to form there a seat for a first fastening screw intended to be screwed into the dental implant.
SNAP-COUPLING TEMPORARY ABUTMENT MOUNT FOR DENTAL PROSTHESIS
A temporary cylinder for snap-in retention with an elongate dental implant includes an elongate body extending from a first end to a second end, the elongate body being generally cylindrical and having an upper portion and a lower engagement portion and the temporary cylinder's lower engagement portion includes a male irregular hexagonal plug, and wherein the dental implant includes a female regular hexagonal socket, and wherein the male irregular hexagonal plug and the female regular hexagonal socket are configured for inter-engagement with each other, and the fitment of the irregular hexagonal plug and regular hexagonal socket together with one another results in a frictional fit when inter-engaged.
