A dental implant having a substantially cylindrical shape with a longitudinal axis defining a longitudinal direction, including: a coronal section including a coronal end of the implant; a threaded region extending apically from the coronal section to an apical tip of the implant; and an internal blind bore for connection to a secondary part, including: a stabilizing section extending apically from the coronal end; and a drive and indexing section which extends apically from an apical end of the stabilizing section, which includes a plurality of connecting lobes having a concave shape and extending in the longitudinal direction, being interconnected by respective lobe linking areas, including: two convex sections extending in the longitudinal direction and adjacent to a respective connecting lobe; and a concave section extending in the longitudinal direction between the two convex sections. Further, a secondary part and an insertion tool of a configuration matching the dental implant.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
A fastening device for a dental prosthesis, in particular for use with a plurality of implants in the mouth of a patient, has a lower part, which is connectable to an implant along a first axis and has a holding element which is arranged along a second axis and is enclosed by an upper part, wherein the upper part is suitable for connection to a dental prosthesis, wherein an adhesion gap is formed between upper part and lower part and, after introduction of an adhesive material, permits a compensation between upper part and lower part.
Restoration dental implant system and method
An implant fixture is disclosed. The implant fixture contains an elongated shaft section, and a head section comprising a concavity along the head section's perimeter, wherein the concavity provides an area for bone growth therein to compensate for jawbone deterioration adjacent to the implant fixture due to craniofacial growth.
CAP PART FOR DENTAL SCANNING
The invention relates to a cap part (1) intended to be placed on an interface (100) or on an attachment in order to act jointly as a scanning post. The cap part has a cavity (2) for housing at least one cylindrical portion (101) with a circular base of the interface or of the attachment. The cap part is configured by a single body comprising an upper portion (11) formed by a solid head (3) without holes or notches, and a lower portion (12) provided with a longitudinal blind hole forming the cavity (2). The blind hole comprises a retaining segment (4), the inner wall of which is partially or entirely formed by a concave, cylindrical retaining surface (40) with an elliptical or oval-shaped base for retaining by embedding an essentially cylindrical portion (101) of the interface (100) or of the attachment.
SUPERSTRUCTURE SUPPORT HAVING SPECIAL INNER AND OUTER GEOMETRY
The invention relates to a superstructure support (20) as part of a prosthetic tooth replacement (1) between an implant body (10) and a superstructure, comprising a hollow implant post (23), a hollow implant pin (50), and an implant flange (31) lying therebetween. The cavity zones (67, 62) of the implant post (23) and of the implant pin (50) transition into each other. The cavity zones have respective center lines (69, 63), which include an angle of 60 to 86 angular degrees. The cavity zone (62) of the implant pin (50) has a screw head seat surface (65) that widens toward the implant flange. At least some areas of the implant flange form a supporting enveloping surface (37), which is oriented toward the implant post (23) and the outer edge (33) of which spans a reference plane (38), which is perpendicularly intersected by the center line (69) of the post-side cavity zone (67). The center lines of the implant post (23) and of the implant pin (50) intersect or cross below the reference plane (38). By means of the invention, a superstructure support (20) for the prosthetic tooth replacement is improved in such a way that a secure and lasting screwed connection to the implant body is ensured.
Tooth implant
An apparatus for replicating a tooth within a user's mouth includes a threaded insert receivable with a bore in a wearer's jaw, the threaded insert having a first connector associated therewith and a tooth implant having a second connector. The first and second connectors are frictionally engageable with each other to retain the tooth implant within the user's mouth.
TOOTH IMPLANT
The invention relates to an implant for osseointegration into a jaw bone, having a receiving opening one section of which is designed as an inner polygon, and at its distal end, the implant includes an indexing that reproduces the geometry of the inner polygon.
IMPLANT ANALOG
A dental implant system including a dental implant (1) and an associated implant analog (50), the implant extending along a longitudinal axis (L.sub.I) from an apical end (101) to a coronal end (102) and having an external surface for anchoring and osseointegrating in bone, a coronal end portion (105) having abutment connection geometry for cooperating with an abutment which can be seated in one or more defined positions on the implant, the abutment connection geometry having a coronally facing abutment contact surface (128) which extends around the full circumference of the implant, and in use directly contacts the abutment and provides a stop defining the axial location of the abutment relative to the implant, the coronal end portion further having a coronally facing prosthesis contact surface (129) located radially beyond the abutment contact surface, the prosthesis contact surface being a continuous surface extending around the full circumference of the implant. The associated analog (50) has an external surface comprising an anti-rotation section (53) having a non-circular symmetric cross-section in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis for non-rotational fixation in a dental model, an analog head (55) located at the coronal end of the analog, the head having abutment connection geometry for cooperating with the abutment so that it is seatable in the same one or more defined positions on the analog as on the implant. The abutment contact surface of the analog has the same longitudinal cross-section and radial location relative to its longitudinal axis as at least a portion of the abutment contact surface of the implant about the entire circumference of the analog, such that the abutment contact surface of the analog matches at least a part of the abutment contact surface of the implant about its entire circumference, and the prosthesis contact surface of the analog has the same longitudinal cross-section and location relative to its abutment contact surface and longitudinal axis as one or more portion of the prosthesis contact surface of the implant, such that the prosthesis contact surface of the analog matches one or more part of the prosthesis contact surface of the implant. In comparison to the prosthesis contact surface of the implant, the prosthesis contact surface of the analog is discontinuous in at least the circumferential and/or radial direction.
DENTAL PROSTHESIS PRODUCTION DEVICE AND DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a dental prosthesis production device and method of manufacturing a dental prosthesis in which the dental prosthesis has an implant (40) and an abutment (10) which has a shape that is compatible with the implant (40) and on or to which abutment a dental structure (28) that is made of a dental material, in particular ceramic and/or plastic, and produced with the aid of a CAM process using rapid prototyping or compression molding technology can be secured. The abutment is mounted on the implant (40) via a releasable connection, in particular a screw connection (44), having an anti-rotation mechanism (50), and an anti-rotation device (groove 22) is formed between the abutment (10) and the dental structure (28). A selection device (66) is provided for abutments, said selection device allowing a selection of the abutment (10) for producing the dental prosthesis, optionally after reducing the abutment height to a specified value in a patient-specific manner, and a machining tool, in particular a milling cutter, or a CAM device is provided for shortening the abutment (10).
TWO-PART MODELLING AID
A two part modelling aid (1, 100) for connection to a dental implant component (200), the modelling aid comprising a hollow base part (10, 110) comprising an open apical end (14, 114), an open coronal end (16, 116) and a tubular side wall (12, 112) extending from the apical to coronal end along a linear longitudinal axis (L.sub.B), the side wall having an interior and an exterior surface, one of said surfaces comprising an anti-rotation section (18, 118) having a non-circular symmetric cross-section in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and a hollow angled part (30, 30) comprising an open apical end (34, 134), an open coronal end (36, 136) and a tubular side wall (32, 132) extending between the apical end and coronal end and having an interior and exterior surface, the tubular side wall forming an apical portion (35, 135) of the angled part extending along a first linear axis (L.sub.1), and a coronal portion (37, 137) of the angled part extending along a second axis, the second axis being non-coaxial to the first axis such that the tubular sidewall creates a non-linear channel (38, 138), the apical portion being sized and shaped to form a friction fit with the base part, wherein, when the base part is connected to the angled part, a closed channel (60, 160) is formed extending from the apical end of the base part to the coronal end of the angled part, the first axis of the apical portion of the angled part being coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the base part and the anti-rotation section of the base part being exposed on a surface of the base part.
