ASSEMBLY FOR DENTAL RESTORATION
An assembly for dental restoration includes a healing element able to be connected to a dental implant, the healing element including a lateral surface intended to be integrated within a gum for the purpose of shaping the gum as the gum heals, and an end surface that forms, together with part of the lateral surface, an emergent surface that is intended to remain outside the gum and is asymmetrical with respect to at least one perpendicular median plane. The assembly for dental restoration also includes a detachable prosthesis support having a receiving part for a crown prosthesis and a linking part capable of engaging with a matching linking zone that is defined in a through-opening that is provided in the healing element.
Dental Implant System
A dental prosthesis system includes a dental implant having a dental implant fixture and an internal locking collar extending upwardly from the dental implant fixture. The internal locking collar defines a central bore extending downwardly into the dental implant fixture. An abutment for cement has a base surface for placement against the dental implant, which defines a central hole aligned with the central bore. A securing mechanism secures the abutment for cement to the dental implant. The securing mechanism including an expansion locking system disposed through the central hole and within the bore. A portion of the expansion locking system is expandable outwardly so as to lock the abutment for cement to the dental implant fixture.
Set of components for dental prosthetic restoration
A set of components for dental prosthetic restoration includes a ceramic dental implant having an internal connecting receiving space. An internally threaded insert is added into the internal connecting receiving space of the dental implant, and rotatably indexed. It is held by a fixing part forming an axial abutment opposing an extraction of the internally threaded insert out of the inner connection receiving space.
Molds for custom dental implant abutments and impression posts
Molds for fabrication of custom and potentially modifiable abutments and impression posts for dental implants with various degrees of angulations (including zero degrees) and various dimensions are provided, with a generally oval shape that expands laterally upwards, a symmetrical or asymmetrical cross-section, and regular surfaces, that are fabricated as one piece, or as two coupling pieces snapping onto each other. Custom abutments achieve the development of a custom gingival emergence profile, three dimensionally, which is potentially modifiable according to the needs of each particular clinical case. Custom impression posts that correspond in dimensions and angulations to the abutments allow the accurate recording and transfer of the developed gingival emergence profile from the mouth onto the working cast, where the final implant prosthesis is fabricated. Custom abutments and impression posts have properties and design that allows their preparation and usage as temporary abutments for the cementation and support of temporary prostheses.
ATTACHING DENTAL IMPLANTS, DENTAL ABUTMENTS AND DENTAL SUPERSTRUCTURES TO EACH OTHER
An approach for attaching a superstructure, such as a crown, to an abutment by an approach that includes causing thermoplastic material to become flowable due to mechanical energy input, and to flow relative to an attachment structure to secure the superstructure and crown together.
Dental implant system
A dental prosthesis securing system secures a dental prosthesis to a dental implant. An abutment for cement has a base surface for placement against the dental implant. The base surface does not define an engagement shape that requires alignment with a complementary shape defined by the implant. A securing mechanism secures the abutment for cement to the dental implant.
Convertible dental assembly
A convertible dental assembly is disclosed herein. The convertible dental assembly includes abutments adapted for fixing with implants; fixed-hybrid housings adapted for fixing with the abutments through a fixing screw; and removable-hybrid housings, adapted for engagement with abutments through snap fit parts. The fixing screw and the snap fit part are fixed to the abutments through same female threads on the abutments. The fixed-hybrid housings are used for a fixed-hybrid dental assembly during period of healing of the implants, and replaced by the plurality of removable-hybrid housings along with the snap fit parts for a removable-hybrid dental assembly after the period of healing of the implants. The fixed-hybrid housings and the removable-hybrid housings can be captured in the dental assembly via chair-side pickup at respective instances. The removable-hybrid housings can be placed indirectly by a dental laboratory if a new denture is being fabricated. The abutment includes an outer frustoconical profile that engages with matching frustoconical cavities in the fixed-hybrid housings and removable-hybrid housings.
Tissue level one-time abutment system and method
A tissue level one-time abutment system for use in a dental zone to reduce a chair time, the system comprising: an abutment supporting a superstructure, the abutment comprising: an implant; a healing cap mechanically fixed to the implant by a threaded bolt extending axially through the healing cap and secured into a matching tapped socket in the implant; and a driving tool having a cross sectional shape matching an axial depression in the healing cap and the driving tool attached to the threaded bolt and having a detachable connection to the threaded bolt; wherein the abutment is configured to be inserted in an initial procedure, with the healing cap retained in place upon the implant, following the initial procedure.
Dental implant abumtment system and method of use
A dental anchoring system includes an angled abutment, having a main body extending from a top to a channel body, the channel body extending away from the main body at a predetermined angle less than 180 degrees; a lip extending around the top; and an opening extending from the top and through the channel body, the opening to receive an attachment device; the angled abutment is to provide an angled attachment for a dental prosthetic.
