Electronic switch control method
An electronic switch control method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving the current working parameters of the electronic switch, then reading duty cycle parameters matching with the current working parameters; conducting a linear calculation with the duty cycle parameters and the working parameters to obtain a new duty cycle; adjusting the current control signal to obtain a PWM signal having the new duty cycle; and controlling the rotation speed of the motor in a load with the PWM signal. By reducing the volume of an electronic switch and achieving a long low-speed travel, the disclosure enables the user to work at an accurate working point with an electronic device.
Apparatus for Generating at least one Identifier of at least one Article
An apparatus for generating at least one identifier of at least one article, in particular a machine tool, includes at least one sensing unit that senses at least one usage parameter and/or at least one article parameter of the article. The apparatus includes at least one computing unit that takes the at least one sensed usage parameter and/or the at least one sensed article parameter as a basis for issuing a certificate for the article.
Power tool system having in-station verification utilizing radio frequency signal strength
The industrial power tool system includes a controller physically disposed in a predefined location within an assembly line work station. The controller has a first radio frequency transceiver that propagates a digital communication signal at a predefined power. A human operable portable power tool has a second radio frequency transceiver configured to communicate with the first transceiver, providing a signal strength datum indicative of the received signal strength. A processor circuit causes the tool to perform a sequence of predefined assembly job steps that are mediated by the processor circuit according to a control loop running on the processor circuit. The processor circuit compares the signal strength datum to a predefined signal strength threshold to determine if the distance between the first and second radio frequency transceivers is less than a predefined distance that defines a home area proximate the controller. The processor circuit uses the test of this distance as at least one operative step in the control loop that mediates the sequence of predefined assembly job steps.
REMOTE PROGRAMMING OF A POWER TOOL
A method is provided for controlling operation of a power tool, such as a drill driver. The method begins with one or more descriptors for a fastening application being received by a controller residing in the power tool, where the descriptors are indicative of a fastening application to be performed by the power tool and are received via a wireless data link from a computing device located remotely from the power tool. The descriptors are translated into a threshold value used by a fastener setting algorithm and the threshold value is stored in a data store of the power tool. During a subsequent fastening operation performed using the tool, an operating parameter of the power tool is monitored and evaluated in accordance with the fastener setting algorithm, including the updated threshold value. Example operating parameters include current delivered to the motor and speed of the motor.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR GUIDED TOOLS
The present disclosure is directed to calibrating position detection for a tool. The tool can use a sensor to detect a first value of a parameter. The tool can use a motor to extend the working member of the tool towards a working surface. The tool can include a base. The tool can detect, with the working member in contact with the working service, a second value of the parameter. The tool can determine a z-axis position of the working member relative to the working surface.

ELECTRONIC SWITCH AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic switch and an electronic device are disclosed. The electronic switch includes a trigger, a measurement device, a load control circuit, and the controller. The trigger switches on or off a circuit between a power supply and the electronic switch and generates the travel of the electronic switch. The measurement device is configured to measure working parameters of the power supply, the load and the trigger and to send the working parameters to the controller. The controller receives the working parameters and generates a control signal with a PWM signal. The PWM signal is obtained by adjusting the current control signal according to the working parameters. The control signal is sent to the load control circuit. The load control circuit controls the rotation speed of the motor in the load with the control signal.
