The present invention provides a dental implant comprising: a first coupling part 150 is provided on an inner surface of the axial hole of the fixture, the first coupling part comprising a coupling recess depressed outward, in a predetermined location on the inner surface of the axial hole, and a first corresponding coupling part provided on an outer circumferential surface of the coupling leg 122 to be complementarily coupled to the first coupling part 150, the first corresponding coupling part comprising a coupling protrusion, wherein, in a state in which the abutment is fitted into the fixture by complementary coupling between the first coupling part and the first corresponding coupling part; when a rotation force applied to the abutment has less than a predetermined level, the abutment is prevented from rotating relative to the fixture in a circumferential direction, and when the rotation force applied to the abutment is equal to or greater than the predetermined level, the coupling leg of the abutment is elastically bendable radially inwardly toward a central axis and the abutment is rotated in the circumferential direction, allowing the coupling protrusion of the first corresponding coupling part to be released from the coupling recess of the first coupling part, so that the fixture and the abutment are decoupled from each other.

A guide-sleeve is couplable to an oral surgical guide at a fixed rotational orientation, height, and angle with respect to oral anatomy. An implant delivery device, couplable to a dental implant, drives the implant into tissue of the subject by rotation of the delivery device about its longitudinal axis until the delivery device lockingly engages the guide-sleeve. When the implant lockingly engages the guide-sleeve, the implant is disposed in the tissue at a fixed rotational orientation, depth, and angle with respect to the oral anatomy, and any further advancement and rotation of the dental implant with respect to the tissue is prevented. Other embodiments are also described.

A tooth implant system is provided, comprising a fixture, protrusions, and an abutment. The fixture has a top opening portion, a bottom closed portion, an inner surface portion, an outer surface portion, and a central hole portion surrounded by the inner surface portion. The plurality of protrusions are provided on the inner surface portion of the fixture at locations of substantially same heights from the bottom closed portion and with even circumferential intervals, and each of the plurality of protrusions comprises a vertical stop and a bottom edge. The abutment comprises an upper cylindrical portion, a middle connecting portion extending from the top cylindrical portion, and a lower engaging portion extending from the middle connecting portion. The lower engaging portion of the abutment is configured to be received into the central hole portion surrounded by the protrusions and engage with the protrusions.

The present invention provides a dental implant including: a fixture and an abutment including a coupling leg, and the fixture and the abutment are elastically coupled with each other, the dental implant including: a fixture axial hole inner inclined surface in which an inner diameter of an axial hole is gradually and downwardly reduced from a predetermined position of an inner inclined surface of the fixture; a first coupling part formed with a coupling hole at a predetermined position of the fixture; and a first associated coupling part formed with a coupling protrusion complementarily coupled with the first coupling part, wherein when the first associated coupling part is separated from the first coupling part by rotating the abutment, the coupling protrusion upwardly pushes the abutment from the fixture by elastic repulsion with the axial hole inner inclined surface of the fixture, thus the abutment becomes separated from the fixture.

An apparatus for replicating a tooth within a user's mouth includes a threaded insert receivable with a bore in a wearer's jaw, the threaded insert having a first connector associated therewith and a tooth implant having a second connector. The first and second connectors are frictionally engageable with each other to retain the tooth implant within the user's mouth.

DENTAL INSERT

A dental insert consists of a spherical body of a medical grade elastomer. The body has a circumference with a plurality of outwardly extending projections of uniform size and shape distributed evenly about the circumference. The body is not more than 10 mm in diameter, as measured from an outer extremity of the projections. This dental insert has application in implant dentistry and endodontics.

A dental prosthesis arrangement includes a lower part assigned to a jaw implant and an upper part assigned to a superstructure. The lower part engages in the upper part along a central axis. The lower part is supported against the upper part at several contact faces. The lower part and the upper part are connected releasably to each other via a securing device which provides a retaining force against axial withdrawal of the upper part from the lower part. A first radially inwardly directed structure is provided on the lower part and a second radially outwardly directed structure is provided on the upper part for receiving a holding element that provides the retaining force. A fastener passing through the upper part and connected to the lower part can alternatively fix the upper part to the lower part.
