Dental milling machine method
A dental milling machine is provided with a tool which is guided in a chuck. A workpiece arm is mounted opposite the tool to be able to be moved at least in the direction of the spindle axis. With a control device it can be moved in relation to the workpiece, especially by means of a drive motor of the workpiece arm. The workpiece arm has an abutment element, whereby the control device moves the tool and the abutment element towards each other until they abut each other. The control device can be used to detect abutment of the abutment element with respect to the tool, in particular with respect to its tip, in particular by decelerating the (relative) movement of the tool and the abutment element towards each another, upon contact of the tool and the abutment element. This position may be signaled as a reference position and, especially may be stored.

PROCESS FOR GENERATING A CAM DATASET
The present invention relates to a process for generating a CAM dataset, having the steps of providing (S201) a digital CAD dataset for a dental prosthesis having first reference data for a first spatial reference geometry; providing (S202) a digital CAM dataset having second reference data for a second spatial reference geometry; and integrating (S203) the CAD dataset in the CAM dataset by aligning the first spatial reference geometry of the CAD dataset with the second spatial reference geometry of the CAM dataset.
Method For Producing A Dental Prosthesis, Blank And Dental Prosthesis
A method is provided for producing a dental prosthesis from a blank using a CAD/CAM device, wherein the blank consists partially of base material and partially of tooth material, and a boundary surface between these materials is formed as a wave, the wave crests and wave valleys of which alternate with each other along the outer periphery of the blank. The apex of each wave crest extends substantially radially with respect to the blank. The CAD/CAM device fixes the position of a retention part, which serves to fasten the prosthesis to the alveolar crest of a patient, in particular of an external telescope, of a cover of a bar, or of an abutment in the prosthesis in such a way that it passes through the boundary surface. The retention part is fastened by means of gluing or incorporation by polymerisation.
CUTTING APPARATUS, HOLDER POSITION COORDINATE CORRECTING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE NON-VOLATILE STORAGE MEDIUM
A cutting apparatus includes a container including a holder in which a workpiece having an adapter attached thereto is held, a reading target applied to the adapter, an optical sensor to optically read the reading target, a memory storing a position coordinate of the holder and a theoretical position coordinate of the reading target associated with the position coordinate of the holder, a reader to read the reading target using the optical sensor to acquire an image of the reading target, a calculator to determine, in accordance with the image acquired by the reader, an actual position coordinate of the reading target to calculate a correction value from a difference between the actual position coordinate and the theoretical position coordinate, and an updater to update, using the correction value calculated by the calculator, the position coordinate of the holder stored in the memory.
