MOLDS FOR CUSTOM DENTAL IMPLANT ABUTMENTS AND IMPRESSION POSTS
Molds for fabrication of custom and potentially modifiable abutments and impression posts for dental implants with various degrees of angulations (including zero degrees) and various dimensions are provided, with a generally oval shape that expands laterally upwards, a symmetrical or asymmetrical cross-section, and regular surfaces, that are fabricated as one piece, or as two coupling pieces snapping onto each other. Custom abutments achieve the development of a custom gingival emergence profile, three dimensionally, which is potentially modifiable according to the needs of each particular clinical case. Custom impression posts that correspond in dimensions and angulations to the abutments allow the accurate recording and transfer of the developed gingival emergence profile from the mouth onto the working cast, where the final implant prosthesis is fabricated. Custom abutments and impression posts have properties and design that allows their preparation and usage as temporary abutments for the cementation and support of temporary prostheses.
Dental implant
A multi-component dental implant system designed to improve oral hygiene. The dental implant system may comprise an implant body configured to be insertable into at least a portion of an individual's mouth, a primary or first abutment, a dental prosthesis engagement member, and a housing assembly. In use, the first abutment is designed to engage with and secure to the dental prosthesis engagement member. The housing is configured to secure to or cover the dental prosthesis engagement member. The dental implant system allows an individual to remove a prosthesis without the aid of any special tools or instruments.
Screwless dental implant connection
A dental restoration system is disclosed. A dental restoration system includes an implant, retention component, dental component and driver tool. The retention component is seatable in a retention chamber of the implant. The retention component includes a driver section for interfacing with a driving head of the driver tool and a dental component engagement section with a threaded surface. The dental component includes a retention component interface surface with threads. The dental component engages the retention component via the threaded surface interlocking with the threads of the retention component interface surface when the dental component is inserted in the implant. The driver tool is used to rotate the retention component to engage the dental component apically. The retention component contacts the retention component wall and the dental component contacts an annular shoulder of the implant when the dental component is fully attached to the implant.
Dental prosthesis
A dental prosthesis formed of a composition comprising a polymeric material, the prosthesis comprising one or more locating formations adapted to receive a dental implant fixture or dental abutment, the or each locating formation comprising a recess comprising a first recess portion formed in the polymeric material of the prosthesis, and a second recess portion provided in a sleeve located in the prosthesis.
DENTAL PROSTHETIC DEVICE
A dental prosthetic device (1) is described, designed for the creation of at least one prosthetic product, that can be customized by the operator according to the patient's clinical needs, that comprises at least a rotating element (20), connected at the bottom with an implant element (5) by means of an anchoring means (10) and at the top with the stump tooth (4) by means of a connection (3), this rotating element (20), being made up of an upper portion (21) and a lower portion (22). This upper portion (21) of the rotating element (20) being arranged with respect to the lower portion (22) as a function of the value assumed by the angle .
Dental replacement having a connecting sleeve
A dental prosthesis (100) for anchoring in the jawbone (1), comprising a dental implant (110) with an implant body (111) and an abutment (112), a tooth part (120) with an internal guide (122) in the tooth part (120), in particular penetrating the tooth part (120), and a closure body (130) for sealing the dental prosthesis (100) within the internal guide (122) in the tooth part (120), in particular penetrating the tooth part (120). A connecting sleeve (140) is arranged between the closure body (130) and the internal guide (122) of the tooth part (120), by means of which connecting sleeve the tooth part (120) and the dental implant (110) can be connected to one another indirectly, detachably and/or by means of which connecting sleeve the closure body (130) can be releasably locked within the internal guide (122) in the tooth part (120), in particular penetrating the tooth part (120).
Arrangement with a tool and with a fastening means, and method for fastening a fastening means
An arrangement with a tool and with a fastening means having a longitudinal direction is provided. The tool is designed to screw the fastening means into a body in the longitudinal direction; the tool has a blade with a first holding element and a second holding element; the fastening means has a first holding section with a complementary first holding element and a second holding section with a complementary second holding element. In the first holding section, the first holding element and the complementary first holding element interact in such a way that a translatory movement of the blade in the longitudinal direction is blocked. In the second holding section, the second holding element and the complementary second holding element interact in such a way that a rotary movement of the blade can be transferred to the fastening means and the fastening means can be screwed into the body.
