An abutment arrangement for connecting a dental restoration to a dental implant, including a post body and a screw element. The post body has an expansion part and the screw element includes a spreading section. The passage extends through the expansion part of the post body. An outer diameter of the expansion part of the post body is elastically increasable by applying a lateral force. The passage of the post body has a pressure receiving section at the expansion part. When the screw element is located in the passage of the post body, the spreading section of the screw element is arrangeable at the pressure receiving section of the passage of the post body such that the lateral force is applied to the expansion part of the post body and the outer diameter of the expansion part of the post body is increased.

The disclosure relates to a reconstruction prosthesis including a plurality of prosthesis units connected in series. Each of the prosthesis units includes a main part and a cushion structure. The main part has an abutment insertion opening and an accommodation space. The cushion structure is located in the accommodation space and movably located at the abutment insertion opening and defining an abutment mounting hole connected to the abutment insertion opening. The cushion structure is deformable with respect to the main part.

A feature for retaining a denture on dental implants is shown and described. An anchor for receiving prongs is threaded to each of one or more implants in the mouth. A denture having prong passages is placed onto jaw bone or overlying tissue, above the implant. The anchor occupies an opening in the denture. With the denture in place and with the prong passages aligned with prong reception sites of the anchor, a pronged denture connector is installed such that the prongs pass through the prong passages of the denture and penetrate the prong reception sites of the anchor. The prongs are frictionally secured in place by an elastic member lining the prong passages of the denture and constricting over inserted prongs. The denture may comprise synthetic resin reinforced by a metallic reinforcing bar.
