Condensing skeletal implant that facilitate insertions
A dental implant that facilitates insertion includes a body having a coronal end and an apical end opposite the coronal end. An implant-prosthetic interface region is provided adjacent the coronal end. A tapered region is adjacent the apical end. A variable profile helical thread extends along the tapered region. The thread becomes broader in the apical-coronal direction and higher in the coronal-apical direction. The threads include an apical side, a coronal side and a lateral edge connecting them. The variable profile thread includes an expanding length of the lateral edge while the distance of the lateral edge from the base is reduced in the direction of the coronal end. The implant also has a gradual compressing tapered core, a self drilling apical end with a spiral tap, and a coronal end with and inverse tapering.
Dental implant system and method
An implant fixture is disclosed. The implant fixture contains an elongated shaft section, a head section, wherein the head section comprises at least one concave area for bone growth therein, and a protrusion extending from the head section.
Dental interphase with a mode for the reversible fitting of a prosthetic structure to an implant
A dental interphase with a mode for the reversible fitting of a prosthetic structure to a dental implant that includes an expander core (2), an activator screw (3) and a connection element (26), wherein the activator screw (3) incorporates an external thread (31) for being attached to the expander core (2) by screwing onto an internal thread (22) in the area of notches (23) to a specific depth, the connection element being intended for being coupled to the expander core (2) by attaching a coupling area (14) incorporated in a complementary coupling area (24) incorporated in the expander core (2) such that, once the activator screw (3) is inserted into the expander core (2) the attachment of the interphase to the implant (6) may be permanent, or it may be reversible, where it can be taken apart.
Dental implant having a socket body, and kit for said dental implant
The present invention relates to a dental implant (100, 100′, 500) and to a kit for said dental implant. In order to provide dental implants (100, 100′, 500) which meet the general requirements for a successful implantation and use and which can be easily adapted to bone variations and implant offerings, it is proposed according to the invention that the dental implant (100, 100′, 500) comprises a ceramic base body (130, 530), a ceramic abutment (120, 120′, 520), a ceramic tooth structure (110), and/or a connector (1, 1′, 1″, 5) for connecting of base body (130, 530), abutment (120, 120′, 520) and/or tooth structure (110) to each other, and a bushing body (6), which is at least in a final assembly state (E) of the dental implant (100, 100′, 500) received at least partly in the base body (130, 530), in the abutment (120, 120′, 520) and/or in the tooth structure (110) or surrounds the connector (1, 1′, 1″, 5) at least in sections.
DUAL FIXATION SYSTEM FOR PROSTHESIS ON DENTAL IMPLANTS THAT ALLOWS THE PROSTHESIS TO BE SCREWED OR CLIP RETAINED AS APPROPRI-ATE
The invention relates to a dual fixation system for dental implant prosthesis consisting of: an intermediate abutment assembly for fixation on the implant, clip fixation device, fixation screw and cylinder that allows the prosthesis to be screwed or retained by clip as appropriate, individually or independently for each implant.
This system facilitates both the immediate loading technique and the execution of the definitive prosthesis made on an intermediate abutment, since retention by clip is very advantageous in the case of implants with unfavorable emergencies, joining them to the structure as abutments and without compromising the esthetics of the case.
DENTAL IMPLANT PROSTHETIC AND SURGICAL LIFE-SAVING KIT
The present invention is a dental implant tool comprising of a handle and a head portion connected to each other via a hinge facilitating the head to pivot relative to the handle to enable the dentist to reach various positions within a patient's mouth. The head portion configured to retain an abutment, an impression coping or healing abutment during a dental procedure and can be moved to the left and the right up to 90 degrees. The head comprises a rotatable ratchet with a key-shape center hole to hold an abutment in place while affixing the abutment to an implant and provides a complete access to implant-driver tip to the screw head, regarding to any abutment-body angulation, position and screw access hole. The inner wall of the center hole has 3°-degree convergences at any plan of the walls in order to grasp, lock and hold implant abutments. The dental tool provides practitioners with a better and more enhanced access to the sites of the implants without any limitations, regarding to the implant while minimizing the amount of health risk exposure through increasing the level of safety standards.
BONE ANCHOR FIXTURE FOR A MEDICAL PROSTHESIS
A screw-shaped anchoring fixture for anchoring a prosthesis in the skull bone. The anchoring fixture comprises a main body configured to be implanted into the bone and a flange configured to function as a stop to prevent the main body from completely penetrating through the bone. The main body comprises a distal tapered apical portion, a first portion, and a second portion. The inner diameter of the second portion is greater than the inner diameter of the first portion. The method for inserting the anchoring fixture includes providing the anchoring fixture, drilling a hole, and inserting the anchoring fixture into the hole until the flange contacts the skull bone, wherein the hole has a diameter that is greater than the inner diameter of the first portion and less than the outer diameter of the second portion.
