Method and a tool for manufacturing a dental implant and a dental implant apparatus manufactured hereby
A method for manufacturing a dental implant apparatus that comprises an implant and an implant support that can be placed next to one another by contact surfaces and that have contours providing security against rotation that are integrally molded on in one piece. The implant and an implant support have mutually matching contours that prevent a rotation of the implant and the implant support when placed next to one another. A tool system for carrying out the described methods and a dental implant apparatus that is manufactured in a corresponding manner are further disclosed. A contact surface of the implant is ground using a first grinding gauge that has a grinding surface having the shape of the contact surface of the implant attachment but not having the shape of the contour providing security against rotation of the implant. The contact surface of the implant support is ground using a second grinding gauge that has a grinding surface having the shape of the contact surface of the implant but not having the shape of the contour providing security against rotation of the implant support.
Double dental implant that remains stable in the presence of periimplantitus
An implant formed by two implants: an upper implant and a lower implant, the upper implant being removable. The implant differs from conventional implants in that the body of the implant has a second polished collar corresponding with the beginning of the lower implant. The two implants are connected by a screw located in the lower part of the upper implant of which it forms a part, the screw engaging with the thread of the lower implant. The connection between the two implants is circular, as it must allow anticlockwise rotation when removed.
Dental abutment system
A dental implant screw for holding an abutment on a dental implant includes a head and a shaft. A proximal end of the shaft is coupled to the head. The shaft includes a threaded section, an outwardly tapered section leading into a recessed section, and a stop section directly between the outwardly tapered section and the recessed section. The recessed section is directly between the head and the stop section. The threaded section is directly adjacent a distal end of the shaft and is configured to engage threads of an internally threaded bore in the dental implant to hold the abutment on the dental implant.
DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
A dental implant system that can include a prosthetic assembly and a dental implant. The prosthetic assembly can include a dental component and a retention screw. The dental component and the retention screw each have interference elements that are configured to engage when a removal torque is applied to the screw. When the interference element engage each other, a portion of the removal torque is converted into a linear force that is exerted on the dental component in a removal direction thereby separating the dental component from the dental implant.
Dental implant system and method for producing a dental implant system
A dental implant system having a first implant part, provided for introduction into a jawbone, and having a second implant part, provided for attaching a tooth replacement part, the implant parts being mechanically interconnectable via a connection pin which is integrally formed on one of the implant parts and which is insertable into a receiving duct provided in the other implant part, is to have a particularly high stability and long duration of use, even when ceramic materials are used for the implant parts. For this purpose, in a contact region to the receiving duct the connection pin is provided with a spacer formed of a material softer than the material of the connection pin, and the connection pin has a porous surface, in the surface region which is provided with the coating, to form a material fit connection to the coating.
ROOT ASSEMBLY WITH POSITION RECOGNITION
A root assembly includes an implant body and a positioning device connected to the implant body. The implant body has a positioning hole formed through one end thereof and an engaging portion opposite to the positioning hole. The positioning hole has an end edge. The positioning device has a positioning seat where an artificial tooth is attached and a positioning unit extending through and out of the positioning seat. A first recognition portion is formed on the positioning seat. The location of the first recognition portion of the positioning seat corresponding to the end edge of the positioning hole can recognize that the positioning device is exactly positioned on the implant body, thereby preventing the positioning device from loosening.
Dental connection assembly and method for producing a dental prosthesis
The present invention relates to a connection assembly for attaching a dental component to a dental implant, a dental component for the connection assembly and a method to use the connection assembly. The connection assembly (100; 1100; 2100; 3100) is removably attachable to the dental implant (10; 1010; 2010; 3010), preferably with the dental component (20; 1020; 2020; 3020) attached to the connection assembly, and a dental component is attachable to the connection assembly in a pre-fastened state or a fastened state. The pre-fastened state, when the connection assembly is attached to the dental implant, the connection assembly allows for adjustment of a relative position and/or orientation between the dental component and the dental implant. In the fastened state, the relative position and/or orientation between the dental component and the connection assembly is fixed, while the connection assembly is in particular detachable from the dental implant with the dental component attached to the connection assembly in the fastened state.
Implant structure
An object of the present invention is to provide an implant structure assuring that substances accelerating breeding of bacteria are hard to be induced. The implant structure comprises: an artificial tooth root including an artificial tooth root main body having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion and a thread being formed at least on the distal end portion side and an induction portion for inducing a soft tissue provided on an outer periphery of the proximal end portion of the artificial tooth root main body; and a support base having a covering portion at the proximal end portion side of the support base covering the whole surface of the proximal end portion side of the induction portion, wherein the support base is provided with a step portion along its outer periphery from the covering portion toward a distal end side of the support base.
System for the In Situ Cleaning of Dental Implants
Disclosed herein is a cleaning system (30) for a dental implant part (2) that has been introduced into the jaw bone of a patient. For this purpose, in an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a securing element, which is adapted on the end side to connect to a corresponding connection element in the dental implant part, particularly preferably which can be screwed into a thread of the dental implant part by the end side, and to which a distribution element for a cleaning fluid as well as an electrical contact element can be attached, which distribution element can be connected to an external media reservoir via a media channel, and via which electrical contact element, a power source that is connectable to an external power source can be electrically connected to the dental implant part.
APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DENTAL IMPLANT ABUTMENT FROM BEING LOOSENED
The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing an abutment from being loosened in a dental implant comprising: a fixture (10) which is fixedly installed in a jawbone (1); the abutment (20) coupled to the fixture (10) includes an upper hole (23a) having a bottom surface (24) and a lower hole (23b); and a fastening screw (40) for fixing the abutment (20) to the fixture, wherein the apparatus suppresses unfastening of the fastening screw (40) fastened to the screw part (13) of the fixture (10), thereby preventing the abutment (20) from being loosened from the fixture (10).
