Dental abutment cap assembly
An apparatus includes a dental prosthetic, a metallic insert, and a plastic cap member. The insert is configured to be bonded in an interior of the dental prosthetic. The insert defines a passageway. The of the insert is configured to receive a screw. The cap member is configured to be interposed between the insert and the interior of the dental prosthetic.
Passive fit of implant bridges and implant bars by means of a CAD/CAM tool for the model-free creation of implant-supported restorations
The invention relates to a specimen part for creating a stress-free fit, a so-called passive fit, of implant-supported and/or abutment-supported bridges and bars by means of a CAD/CAM tool for the creation of restorations, and to a method for creating a restoration from a digital model of a patient's jaw provided with at least two implants and/or abutments. The model is determined by means of an intraoral scan. In order to improve the precision of restorations and to shorten the production process, provision is made that the specimen part per implant and/or abutment has a scannable structure, preferably at a defined distance and angle to the implant and/or abutment.
DENTAL IMPLANT WITH INDEXING SURFACES HAVING A FRICTION-REDUCING COATING
The present invention relates to a connection between a post part provided for being screwed into the jawbone and an associated superstructure part to which a dental prosthesis can be fastened. The connection between the post part and the superstructure part has a rotational self-centering action, wherein at least one of the surfaces provided for this purpose has a friction-minimizing modification and/or coating.
System and Dental Implant for Reducing Losses of Dental Implants or Dental Prostheses
A dental implant includes an insertion portion which extends along an implant axis, and a coronal projection for receiving an abutment having a dental prosthesis formed thereon, which can be mounted on the dental implant with a screw. The insertion portion includes a coronal region and an apical region. The coronal projection extends from the coronal region of the insertion portion in the coronal direction and along a prosthesis axis. The coronal projection and the insertion portion are integrally connected in one piece. The prosthesis axis and the implant axis are inclined towards each other, and the abutment having the dental prosthesis formed thereon is attachable to the dental implant with only one screwing operation in the direction of the prosthesis axis.
DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
A dental implant whereby an osteotomy cavity is formed in jawbone and then a base member of the implant is positioned into the cavity. The base member serves as a platform to secure an abutment member of the implant that in turn receives a dental restoration, such as a crown or denture.
Retention die and dental implant system
The invention relates to an apparatus for releasable attachment of a removable dental prosthesis to a head part of an implant or of an abutment that can be anchored in an implant, comprising a retention matrix (1) having a receptacle that accommodates a circular-ring-shaped retention element (2) that has at least two clamping arms (22), which is disposed so as to be displaceable along a center axis of the retention matrix (1), wherein the at least two clamping arms (22) form a mantle surface that widens conically toward the outside, and that the receptacle for the retainer element (2) has two sections (14, 15) having a different inside diameter, against the transition of which the at least two clamping arms (22) lie. The invention furthermore relates to a dental implant system, having such an apparatus.
DENTAL COMPONENT AND A DENTAL IMPLANT
The invention relates to a dental component, such as an abutment, an abutment replica, an abutment blank, a customized abutment, a scan abutment, a digital transfer coping, an impression pick-up element, a healing cap or a driver, comprises a first indexing element and at least two second indexing elements having apical ends located apically of the apical end of said first indexing element. The invention also relates to a dental implant which comprises a dental component having first and second indexing elements and a fixture having third and fourth indexing elements, wherein the first and third indexing elements can only engage with each other after the second and fourth indexing elements have engaged with each other. The invention also relates to a fixture.
IMPLANT STRUCTURE
Disclosed is an implant structure. The implant structure of an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a retainer for forming a cap of a denture structure; a fixing portion which is implanted in the gum and is provided with a fixture at a lower portion thereof, the fixture being implanted and fixed in the alveolar bone, and an abutment at an upper portion thereof, the abutment connecting the fixture to the retainer, wherein the abutment is integrally formed with the fixture; and a coil spring formed in a ring shape to provide elastic force to the retainer and the abutment, wherein a seating portion on which the spring is seated is formed inside the retainer.
ANCHOR WITH HEALING CHAMBERS
An anchor to be screwed into a hole with high primary stability and eventually even higher secondary stability. A right hand thread form winds with continuous turns along the body of the anchor. A trailing flank of the thread form is back-angled. The central region includes an array of flutes having left-hand helical twist. Each flute is composed of distinct flute segments. A condensing ramp is formed along the crest of the thread form between two circumferentially—adjacent flute segments. Each condensing ramp is pitched about 20° so as to apply a localized compressive strain to the interior surface of the host bone with a densifying action when the anchor is screwed into the prepared hole. The condensing ramps create induced stress and super-activated zones in the bone directly adjacent to healing chambers formed by the flute segments. The healing chambers draw bone to naturally encourage and promote healing.
A DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental device comprises: a dental implant comprising a core enveloped by an expandable anchor comprising a plurality of joined segments. Prior to insertion of the core into the expandable anchor a carrier apically displaces within the expandable anchor, generating an expansion force causing the plurality of joined segments to be displaced linearly away from the central axis of the implant where the coronal and apical ends of each joined segment are displaced in parallel paths normal to the central axis of the implant. The core inserts into the expandable anchor to lock the plurality of joined segments in their expanded configuration. At least a first rail on the core is received by a corresponding expandable anchor slot to align the core and expandable anchor and at least a first core and expandable locking lodge engage to lock the core into the expandable anchor.
