Interference determination method and interference determination device for machine tool
An interference determination method for machine tools which determines whether or not there will be interference between elements that move relative to each other, the method including: a setting procedure for setting a machine tool model obtained by combining the shape model of each of the elements including a work model corresponding to the work; a measurement procedure for measuring the position of the work attached to the work attachment part; a correction procedure for acquiring, at a predetermined timing, the position of the work measured in the measurement procedure, and correcting the machine tool model set in the setting procedure; and a determination procedure for determining whether or not there will be interference between the elements on the basis of the machine tool model corrected in the correction procedure.
System And Method For Determining Spatial Locations Of Fixture Element Fixturing Points On A Part To Be Manufactured With The Aid Of A Digital Computer
Automated fixture layout is approached in two distinct stages. First, the spatial locations of clamping points on the work piece are determined to ensure immobility of the fixtured part under any infinitesimal perturbation. Second, spatial locations are matched against a user-specified library of reconfigurable clamps to synthesize a valid fixture layout or configuration that includes clamps that are accessible and collision free. The spatial locations matching during the second stage can be the same spatial locations chosen in the first stage to ensure immobility, or a different set of spatial locations.
Machine tool having warming-up function
When warm-up operation is started, a machine tool acquires an atmospheric temperature around the machine tool and selects a warm-up operation program on the basis of the acquired atmospheric temperature. A warm-up operation command suitable for the atmospheric temperature is given to the control unit according to the selected warm-up operation program. A movable unit of the machine tool can be thereby controlled, and optimum warm-up operation for the atmospheric temperature can be eventually performed.
