METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DENTURE BY USING JIG
The present inventive concept relates to a method of manufacturing dentures by using a jig, the method including: planting false teeth in a soft jig to expose roots of the false teeth to outside of the soft jig; inserting the soft jig into a hole provided in a hard jig; cutting exposed portions of the false teeth to a depth set by a controller of a milling machine; and inserting the cut false teeth into a false teeth groove of a gum structure.
Methods for Direct Fabrication of Appliances for Palate Expansion
Systems, methods, and devices for producing appliances for expansion of the palate of a patient are provided. A palate expanding orthodontic appliance comprises a teeth engagement portion comprising a plurality of teeth engagement structures and a force generating portion coupled to the teeth engagement portion and configured to apply force to cause the patient's palate to expand. The orthodontic appliances can be designed according to the specifications provided herein and manufactured using direct fabrication methods.
DENTAL STENT
A dental stent for tooth restoration, comprising an acrylic outer shell and a set of metal matrix separator strips partially embedded into an inner silicon bed; a method of manufacturing a dental stent including 3D printing of a model wherein tooth forms of teeth to be restored are individually removable from a remainder of the model; a method of tooth restoration using a dental stent, and a kit of parts comprising a dental stent and a composite resin, and optionally a heater, a light cure unit, and a finishing tool kit.
APPARATUS AND METHOD
We describe an apparatus for producing a three-dimensional workpiece, the apparatus comprising: a process chamber for receiving a material from which the three-dimensional workpiece is producible using an additive layer manufacturing technique, wherein the process chamber comprises a translucent window; an irradiation device for irradiating, through the translucent window, the material for producing the three-dimensional workpiece; and an enclosure arranged between the translucent window of the process chamber and the irradiation device, wherein at least a part of the enclosure is translucent for an irradiation beam stemming from the irradiation device to travel from the irradiation device through the enclosure to the material for producing the three-dimensional workpiece, wherein the enclosure comprises an inlet and an outlet, and wherein the apparatus is configured to control a flow of a fluid through the enclosure via the inlet and the outlet.

A method of manufacturing a dental stent includes 3D printing of a model wherein tooth forms of teeth to be restored are individually removable from a remainder of the model. A method of tooth restoration uses a dental stent, and a kit of parts including a dental stent and a composite resin, and optionally a heater, a light cure unit, and a finishing tool kit.
RADIATION-CURABLE COMPOSITION FOR USE IN RAPID PROTOTYPING OR RAPID MANUFACTURING METHODS
A polymerisable radiation-curable composition comprising:
(i) monomers, comprising at least (a) a first monomer having a TG (glass-transition point) of the homopolymer of said first monomer ≥120° C. and at least (b) a second monomer having a TG (glass-transition point) of the homopolymer of the second monomer ≤100° C., wherein at least one of the at least one first monomer or of the at least one second monomer has an alicyclic group, and
comprising (ii) at least one further component, comprising at least one photo-initiator for the UV and/or Vis spectral region or a photo-initiator system for the UV and/or Vis spectral region. Also disclosed is a blank in the form of a three-dimensional moulded body of a polymerised composition, in particular a radiation-cured composition, for producing 3D moulded bodies, dental prosthetic parts, orthopaedic appliances or dental pre-forms in a rapid prototyping, rapid manufacturing, or rapid tooling method.
Apparatus and Method for Three-Dimensional Laminating and Coloring a Dental Ceramic Crown
An apparatus for three-dimensional laminating and coloring a dental ceramic crown includes a slurry layering module, a coloring module, a light curing module and a main controller. The main controller controls the slurry layering module to lay a slurry from a slurry tank to form a slurry layer, controls the coloring module to color the slurry layer with the colorant in a color tank to form a colorant layer according to a plurality of coloring parameter data, controls the light curing module to cure the slurry layer according to a plurality of laminated graphics. The apparatus may color each slurry layer, and the color can be easily changed as desired. The overall coloring effect of the dental ceramic crown is natural with good light transmittance, and the color is saturated without any blooming formed between the colored layers.
METHOD FOR PROVIDING A NATURAL COLOUR AND OPTICAL DEPTH TO A DENTAL OBJECT
Method for providing a natural colour and optical depth to a dental object comprising the steps: providing a framework of the dental object, taking an object colour picture of an adjacent dental object or reference dental object, and uploading the object colour picture into a computing device, calibrating and adjusting the uploaded object colour picture into a target object colour picture in a computing device, (pre)determining the thickness profile of the enamel material to be applied on the framework, correcting in a computing device of the digital picture elements of the target object colour picture for the thickness profile of the enamel material to be applied on the position of the digital picture elements and providing a print colour picture of the corrected digital picture elements, printing the print colour picture as a print layer on the framework, applying the enamel material in the predetermined profile-thickness upon the print layer upon the framework.
DIGITAL DENTAL ARCH DATABASE
The invention relates to a method for producing a denture, characterized by a) providing a predefined dental arch database, the dental arch database having data on maxilla and mandible arches in occlusion; b) generating the denture on the basis of the dental arch data on the maxilla and mandible arches in occlusion.
METHOD FOR GENERATING OBJECTS USING AN HOURGLASS PREDICTOR
A computer-implemented method for generating a 2D or 3D object, including training an autoencoder on a first set of training data to identify a first set of latent variables and generate a first set of output data; training an hourglass predictor on a second set of training data, where the hourglass predictor encoder converts a set of related but different training input data to a second set of latent variables, which decode into a second set of output data of the same type as the first set of output data; and using the hourglass predictor to predict a 2D or 3D object of the same type as the first set of output data based on a 2D or 3D object of the same type as the second set of input data.
