A swimsuit for competition swimming is contemplated as being formed with a seamless, continuous external surface across the rear of the lower torso and thigh portions of the swimsuit, and with a network of tension bands disposed interior to the external surface of the swimsuit for storing energy and resisting motion. The swimsuit may optimize the swimmer's swimming motion and posture, and improve the flow of water over and off of the swimsuit during competition.

The present disclosure is directed towards swimwear with tan through components. Embodiments of the present disclosure include an article of clothing including a bikini top and bikini bottom, each having at least one slider having a first wall integrated into the bikini and at least one strap engaged with the slider. In some embodiments, at least one strap of the bikini top and at least one strap of the bikini bottom is configured to allow the passage of ultraviolet A (UVA) radiation.

The apparel item comprises an outer panel of material, an inner panel of material, a pocket panel, and a double-layer trim piece such as a waistband. A garment made includes at least a waist portion, a first leg portion, and a second leg portion. A garment with insulated liner including a short pant attached to an insulated undergarment. The insulated undergarment is adapted to cover and fit closely to the body of a wearer to preserve an elevated temperature of the body of the wearer under the insulated undergarment. A pair of front seams are provided to secure the short pant to the insulated garment. The front seams extend from a waist area through a pelvic area to a crotch area to prevent the insulated undergarment from drastically shifting in turbulent water.

The present invention relates to a garment (1), and more particularly an underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment (1) for a female. The underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment comprises an open-sided structural frame (10) and a fabric covering (20) for the structural frame. The structural frame (10) includes an anterior contoured loop (15) and a posterior stem (12), relative to a wearer of the garment in normal use, wherein the anterior contoured loop (15) is adapted for surrounding the mons-pubis region, genitals and anus of a female wearer and has a perimeter that is contoured to conform to and engage with the anatomy of the female wearer. A portion of the perimeter of the anterior contoured loop (15) is adapted for tensioned engagement with the inner thigh muscles of a female wearer when worn, in a standing position or whilst walking. The posterior stem (12) is shaped so as to be engageable by the gluteus maximus muscles of the female wearer when worn. The anterior contoured loop (15) and the posterior stem (12) are formed in a sprung-biased arrangement relative to one another such that when the underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment (1) is worn on the female body, a tensile force is transferrable from the posterior stem to the anterior frame portion.
