ARBITRARY MOTION TOOTHBRUSH
A method and apparatus which permits arbitrary, relative motions of a distal end of a toothbrush and/or flosser with respect to a handle. Said motions are selectable by a user in real time by a selection switch. The toothbrush herein includes an elongated body used as a handle, and smaller elongated member serving as the toothbrush post. A mechanism mechanically couples said handle to said toothbrush post member permitting relative translational movement of said toothbrush post with respect to said handle.
TOOTH-CLEANING DEVICE CAPABLE OF STORING OR BEING OPERATIVELY MOUNTED WITH INTERDENTAL BRUSH
A tooth-cleaning device capable of storing or being operatively mounted with an interdental brush includes a floss-pick unit and an interdental-brush unit. The floss-pick unit is provided with a floss-holding portion and a first assembly portion at two opposite ends respectively. The first assembly portion is in communication with an accommodating space in the floss-pick unit. The interdental-brush unit is provided with a second assembly portion and a third assembly portion at two opposite ends respectively. The second assembly portion is protrudingly provided with a bristle section. When the first and second assembly portions are mounted together, the bristle section extends through the first assembly portion to be stored in the accommodating space. Once the first and third assembly portions are mounted together, the bristle section is exposed outside the floss-pick unit. The floss-pick function and interdental-brush function of the tooth-cleaning device can thus be conveniently used.
Electrical appliance for personal care
An electrical appliance for personal care includes a handle with a longitudinal axis, and a plug-on part which can be attached to the handle, wherein a vibration unit having an electric motor and an eccentric element is arranged in the handle, wherein a plug-like coupling structure protrudes from the handle, which plug-like coupling structure forms an interface with a substantially mirror-inverted socket-like coupling structure of the plug-on part, wherein the interface has at least two stages with different circumferential geometry, wherein at least one of the stages has a rotation-preventing means between the handle and the plug-on part, and wherein a stop surface of the handle for the plug-on part extends obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle.
COUPLING FOR PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
A first component (16) for a personal care device comprises a first coupling interface for allowing the first component (16) to be releasably and repeatably coupled to a second component for the personal care device via a second coupling interface of the second component. The first coupling interface comprising a portion of material (38) that can change shape with changes in temperature to couple the first coupling interface to the second coupling interface. The portion of the material (38; 60) is configured to deform during coupling and uncoupling, and to revert towards an original shape after the first coupling interface and the second coupling interface have been coupled or uncoupled. The invention also provides a personal care device (10) comprising the first component (16; 12), and the second component (12; 16) having the second coupling interface.
ORAL HYGIENE INSTRUMENT
An oral hygiene instrument includes a handle for gripping by a user and a dental floss assembly coupled with the handle. The dental floss assembly includes a support frame and a length of dental floss attached to the support frame for flossing between teeth. The support frame is selectively rotatable relative to the handle around an axis of rotation.
Anti-tipping oral hygiene instrument exchanging structure
An anti-tipping oral hygiene instrument exchanging structure includes a handle member attachable to a base member that includes a weight element, a circular curved section formed on the weight element, a base engaging section formed on the weight element, and a plurality of placing sections formed on the base member. The circular curved section is used in combination with the weight element to prevent the handle member from tipping over. The handle member has a handle engaging portion combinable with one hygiene piece. The hygiene piece includes a mutual engaging section mountable to the handle engaging portion in order to achieve an advantage of fast replacement. The hygiene piece includes a first rod, a plurality of holed sections formed on the first rod, and a plurality of detaching sections formed on the holed sections to provide an effect of assisting the operation and use of floss.
TOOL FOR CLEANING A CORRESPONDING PART OF THE ORAL CAVITY OF A PERSON, IN PARTICULAR FOR CLEANING TEETH
A tool for cleaning a corresponding part of the oral cavity of a person, in particular for cleaning of the teeth, preferably of a person; including supporting means, or handle, for means, or member, for engaging and cleaning the corresponding part of the oral cavity of the person, the engaging and cleaning means extending from the supporting means, or handle, and in particular being in the form of a corresponding brush, preferably of a dental brush, or in the form of corresponding dental floss. The supporting means, or handle, have a free end portion which is shaped to form gripping means for the fingers of the user, in particular to perform the cleaning of the corresponding part of the oral cavity.
FLOSSING DEVICE
The flossing device includes a head unit, a handle, and a neck that is coupled to the head unit at one end and to the handle at an opposite end. The flossing device provides a horizontal vibrational movement for flossing. The handle of the flossing device includes a drive motor and a drive mechanism that transfers drive motor rotation into a horizontal left-right displacement of the head unit to generate the horizontal vibrational movement of the floss. The horizontal vibration provides more efficient and effective flossing. The drive mechanism includes a cam and an eccentric collar that generates horizontal left-right displacement as the cam rotates. The drive mechanism also includes an elongated shaft with a head adapter to secure the neck to the head unit; a sidewall spacer surrounding a portion of the elongated shaft to limit the horizontal left-right displacement; and an eccentric collar that mates with the drive motor to generate the horizontal vibrational movement of the head unit.
DENTAL ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR UNIVERSAL APPLICATION
A dental electronic device for universal application with controlled thrust includes an elongated body inside which is positioned a battery supplying an electric motor for driving a thrust pin arranged to cooperate with a connection tip selected from a range of connection tips and being locked inside the elongated body of the pen, each tip including a fastening element for retaining the fastening element inside the elongated body and a recognition element which is activated during the connection of the tip and allowed to initialize one of the control programs previously integrated in an electronic card housed inside the body and connected to a control button placed on an outer face of the elongated body for controlling the electric motor based on the given control program of the tip so as to drive the tip.
Hold a dental cleaning device on food related accessories
A utensil toothbrush apparatus includes a utensil segment and a toothbrush segment. The toothbrush segment includes a handle and a brush head, while the utensil segment includes a handle and a utensil head. The utensil handle and toothbrush handle are configured to couple together so that the utensil handle and toothbrush handle form a continuous handle between the utensil head and toothbrush head.
