09643273 · 2017-05-09 · ·

A system is provided for configuring a delivery device of a cutting or welding apparatus. The system includes a determination module and a mobile computing device. The determination module is configured to determine at least one desired component of the delivery device or a value for at least one operating parameter of the cutting or welding apparatus. The mobile computing device includes a receiver, a reader and a processor. The receiver is configured to receive information from the determination module including at least one of i) identification of the desired component or ii) the value of the operating parameter. The reader is configured to read an element associated with a selected component, where the element provides indicia of at least one characteristic of the selected component. The processor is configure to approve the selected component for assembly into the delivery device.

Robot with hot-swapped end effectors

Robots capable of accommodating dynamic replacement of end effectors load and run software that allows the end effector to be operated without change to the main control program. The driver may be dynamically linked and run during program execution when the corresponding end effector is detected. Typically, the robot controller will store a library of drivers, and load the appropriate driver when a new end effector is detected.

METHOD FOR SETTING IDENTIFICATION CODE OF SMART MOTOR AND MULTI-AXIS CONTROL APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A method for setting identification code of smart motors and a multi-axis control apparatus using the same are provided. The method suitable for setting identification codes of a plurality of smart motors includes following steps: entering an identification setting mode when the smart motors receive an identification code setting command; detecting a shaft rotation angle of each smart motor under the identification setting mode, so as to determine whether the shaft rotation angle of each smart motor is larger than a setting value; and when one of the smart motors determines its shaft rotation angle is larger than the setting value, setting the identification code of the smart motor from a preset identification code to a first identification code.

Welding software for detection and control of devices and for analysis of data

A method used in a welding system includes detecting multiple markers on a welding torch. The markers are detected using one or more cameras. The method also includes blocking live welding using the welding torch while the one or more cameras are unable to detect at least one of the multiple markers on the welding torch.

A machine tool according to an aspect of the present disclosure is capable of appropriately performing a setup task and comprises: a processing device that processes a workpiece by using a tool; one or a plurality of tag readers that are each attached to an article, which is removable and includes the tool, and read a tag that records unique ID information; and a control device which has a setup display unit that displays task information of the setup task to be performed by a worker in accordance with the ID information read by the tag reader.

INTELLIGENT IDENTIFICATION DEVICE FOR HANDHELD INTERCHANGEABLE POWER TOOL
20250341819 · 2025-11-06 ·

An intelligent identification device for handheld interchangeable power tools includes an MCU control unit installed in an electric body. The MCU control unit is electrically connected to a power supply unit and a drive unit in the electric body. The MCU control unit controls and adjusts the output power of the drive unit. An ID recognition module is installed at a connecting end of the electric body. An ID module is installed on the electric working head which is detachably assembled to the connecting end of the electric body. The drive unit is operatively engaged with the electric working head. The ID module and the ID recognition module are signally disconnected or connected depending on the detachment or assembly of the electric working head relative to the connecting end. This intelligent identification device automatically senses and identifies different types of electric work heads to control the power tool.

DIE HOLDER VERIFICATION

A die verification system may include a die holder of a crimp machine, the die holder configured to receive die identification. The system may include a user interface, a data interface. The system may include a controller having one or more processors configured to: receive the die identification from the die holder, reference a crimp database with the die identification, fitting information and hose information; and verify that the die identification is suitable for a crimp process.
