ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH AND CHARGING DOCK
Systems and method for an electric toothbrush and charging dock. The electric toothbrush may include at least one magnetic member and at least one charging coil in a central portion. The charging dock may include at least one magnetic member and at least one transmitting coil. The charging dock may include a proximal portion which may be attached to a distal portion of the charging dock to be rotatable relative to the distal portion. The charging dock may include at least one unit capable of receiving power from a power source. The energy received by the unit from the power source may be transmitted to the transmitting coil. The energy may be transmitted from the transmitting coil to the receiving coil in the electric toothbrush via inductive or resonance charging. The energy may be transferred from the receiving coil to a battery in the electric toothbrush.
Switched mode power supply charger device, kit, and methods of manufacturing and using such a power supply device
A switched mode power supply charger device for a personal care appliance comprises a power supply cable and a power plug. The power plug comprises a housing comprising a first compartment and a second compartment adjacent the first compartment. A converter is disposed in the first compartment. A communication circuit is disposed in the second compartment.
Oral care system, implement, and/or kit
An oral care device having a head with cleaning elements and a handle coupled to the head. The handle may include a selectively rotatable ring arranged between the head and a distal end of the handle that is configured to allow a user to select a desired mode of operation of the oral care device. The handle may include a selectively illuminated light that is configured to display at least one color that visually indicates that certain behaviors, patterns, and/or consistent habits have been performed successfully. The handle may include a processor configured to track a duration of a user's brushing session, a light ring on a bottom surface of the handle, and a pressure sensor. Respective portions of the light ring may be selectively illuminated by the processor to visualize progress toward achieving a predetermined brushing routine time and/or to visualize an over-pressure condition sensed by the pressure sensor.
