A replaceable brush head includes an upper surface, an outer perimeter edge, and a plurality of tufts. The upper surface includes a plurality of bristle tufts. The lower surface includes an outwardly extending knock-out button. The outer perimeter edge includes at least one protrusion. The replaceable brush head may be installed in a toothbrush body that includes a head portion having a recess sized to fit the replaceable brush head with a knock-out opening for the knock-out button and at least one channel for coupling to the at least one protrusion. The replaceable brush head can be removed from the toothbrush assembly by applying a force to the knock-out button in the direction of the tuft plate.

An oral irrigator includes a drive assembly, a pump assembly, and a flexible membrane seal. The drive assembly is received within a housing. The pump assembly is positioned at least partially within a pump chamber. The pump assembly includes a piston and a connecting rod coupled to the drive assembly, the connecting rod movable between first and second positions through operation of the drive assembly. The flexible membrane seal extends from an interior surface of the pump chamber to the connecting rod to fluidly seal an open end of the pump chamber. The flexible membrane seal deforms from a first orientation to a second orientation as the connecting rod moves from the first position to the second position.

The main body may be configured to accommodate the toothpaste cartridge, one or more conduits, a servo mechanism, a controller, and an energy storage device. The removable brush attachment having an elongated structure configured to be removably attached to the main body. The elongated structure may include a first end including a brush head with a front surface. The front surface may include one or more openings configured to dispense a fluid flowing through a passage within the removable brush attachment. The toothpaste cartridge having a flexible cylindrical tank configured for storing the fluid, and to release the fluid into the one or more conduits when a pressure may be applied to the toothpaste cartridge by the servo mechanism.

According to one aspect, an electric toothbrush may include a handle, a brush head, a rechargeable battery, an electric motor, and a pair of electrical contacts. The handle may have a first end region and a second end region defining a longitudinal axis therebetween, the handle defining a volume from the first end region to the second end region. The brush head may include bristles, the brush head releasably securable to the first end region of the handle. The rechargeable battery may be in the volume. The electric motor may be at least partially disposed in the volume, the electric motor in electrical communication with the rechargeable battery, the electric motor in mechanical communication with the brush head. The pair of electrical contacts may be in electrical communication with the rechargeable battery, and the pair of electrical contacts axially and radially spaced from one another, relative to the longitudinal axis.

System and method for determining structural characteristics of an object

The present invention relates generally to a system and method for measuring the structural characteristics of an object. The object is subjected to an energy application processes and provides an objective, quantitative measurement of structural characteristics of an object. The system may include a device, for example, a percussion instrument, capable of being reproducibly placed against the object undergoing such measurement for reproducible positioning. The system does not include an external on/off switch or any remote on/off switching mechanism. The system also includes a disposable feature or assembly for minimizing cross-contamination between tests. The structural characteristics as defined herein may include vibration damping capacities, acoustic damping capacities, structural integrity or structural stability.

The battery mount accommodates a PCT connected with the rechargeable lithium battery. The PCB is disposed with a control switch via a waterproof mount and a waterproof switch case. The press portion of the control switch is exposed from the switch hole of the hand-held casing. The vibration shaft of the brushless motor passes through the motor mount to an exterior of the hand-held casing. The vibration shaft is connected to a toothbrush head. The hand-held casing is threadedly connected to the rear cap at a bottom end thereof. The hand-held casing has a cross section in shape of a circle.
