Powered Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement including a handle and an oral care refill head. The handle has a gripping portion, an engagement component coupled to a distal end of the gripping portion, and a stem. The engagement component includes a plate portion and a first engagement feature. The stem extends through an opening in the engagement component and protrudes from the plate portion. The oral care refill head includes an oral care treatment portion and a sleeve portion. The sleeve portion has an inner surface that defines a sleeve cavity having a cavity axis and a second engagement feature. When the oral care refill head is detachably coupled to the handle, the first and second engagement features mate with one another to at least one of: (1) position the oral care refill head and the handle in an operational alignment; and (2) lock the oral care refill head to the handle.
Light diffuser for oral cleansing devices
The present disclosure relates to an oral cleansing device with illumination features. In one example, a diffuser for diffusing light is disclosed. The diffuser includes a first membrane configured to be positioned over a first light source, a second membrane coupled to the first membrane and configured to be positioned over a second light source; and a bridge coupling the first membrane to the second membrane, where the bridge extends from an edge of the first membrane to an edge of the second membrane in an indirect manner.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
A personal care device has a hollow housing having at least a first transparent or translucent portion extending between the housing's outer and inner surfaces, a carrier fixed inside the housing, at least a first light source mounted on the carrier, and a light barrier mounted on the carrier. The light barrier has at least a first spring arranged to bias a light barrier plate of the light barrier against the housing's inner surface. The light barrier plate has at least a first light transmission portion that is aligned with the first light source and the first transparent or translucent portion of the housing, so that light emitted by the first light source is visible at the outer surface of the first transparent or translucent portion.
SALIVA COLLECTION AND TESTING SYSTEM FOR PREDICTIVE MEDICINE
A saliva collection and testing system comprising an electric toothbrush (1) suitable for taking a user's saliva by way of taking means (15), and a test unit (21) for testing the taken saliva, said test unit (21) including a seat (22) for the electric toothbrush (1) comprising means (25, 33) for taking the saliva collected by the toothbrush, said test unit (21) cleaning-up the saliva taking means (15) of the electric toothbrush (1) after saliva is taken so as to prepare said electric toothbrush (1) to a subsequent use. A digital tooth fingerprint sensor is present on the toothbrush and allows to recognize the user. Advantageously the test results are sent to a remote unit via a wireless system and in an encrypted mode for their subsequent processing by one or several Machine Learning algorithms which exploit an Artificial Intelligence.
Electric toothbrush
An electric toothbrush of the present invention includes: a case having first and second drive shafts exposed therefrom, the first and second drive shafts being rotated in opposite directions and moved forward and backward respectively by a drive unit which is driven by a motor; first and second toothbrush bodies coupled to the first and second drive shafts by first and second coupling units respectively, so as to transmit the rotational force and forward and backward motions of the first and second drive shafts; a brush installed at the ends of the first and second toothbrush bodies so as to clean teeth by the rotational force and forward and backward motions transmitted to the first and second toothbrush bodies; and a third toothbrush body having an auxiliary brush, which is coupled to a third drive shaft of the drive unit installed in the case.
TOOTHBRUSH COMPRISING BRISTLES HAVING DIFFERENT LENGTHS
The toothbrush comprises: a toothbrush handle; a supporting part connected to the toothbrush handle; and a toothbrush head having first bristles and second bristles which are formed on the supporting part. The second bristles are bristles placed inside the first bristles, the first bristles are outermost bristles, the length of the second bristles is 70% or less of the length of the first bristles, and, when the first bristles are inserted between the teeth from the inside of the teeth, at least one among the first bristles can pass the space between teeth and then protrude to the outside of the teeth.
HANDLE FOR AN ELECTRICALLY OPERATED PERSONAL CARE IMPLEMENT
A handle for an electrically operated personal-care implement includes a metal tube housing having a metal wall with an opening and an inner surface, the inner surface defining an inner cavity of the housing for accommodating an energy source, and a switch assembly for activating the energy source. The switch assembly, including a hard switch component and a soft switch component, is arranged in the opening and seals the opening from the inner surface of the wall. The hard switch component comprises a frame having a recess and attached to the inner surface of the metal wall thereby surrounding the opening and providing an undercut between the recess and the inner surface. The undercut is open to the opening, and the soft switch component is positioned in the undercut to at least partially cover the opening.
ROTATION TYPE ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
The present disclosure provides a rotation type electric toothbrush. The electric toothbrush includes a brush handle module, a vibration module and a brush head module having a brush base, a brush cover and bristles. The brush cover and the brush base are in a detachable connection. The bristles are disposed on the brush base. The brush base includes a groove. The vibration module includes a motor and an eccentric shaft having a transmission connection with the motor. The eccentric shaft inserts into the groove. When the rotation type electric toothbrush is working, the eccentric shaft rotates eccentrically to contact a side surface of the groove, so as to drive the brush base and the brush cover to have a reciprocating rotation synchronously.
Multiple mode dental device
A powered brush has two different brushes for different purposes that are selectively vibrated for powered cleaning. The brushes may be a tooth brush and an interdental brush that are separately operated at different frequencies. One or more buttons or switches provide control signals to the powered brush to selectively actuate the different brushes. A controller connects a motor to a power source such as a battery based on the control signals. The controller may include a timer for actuating the selected brush for a given time period.
Apparatus and methods for supporting and charging a dental device
An assembly for supporting and charging a dental device. The assembly has three major components comprising a charging base, a rinsing cup and a dental device. The assembly allows the charging base to wirelessly charge the dental device when the dental device is placed within the rinsing cup, which is located on top of the charging base. The bottom interior surface of the rinsing cup has a convex dome that helps stabilize the assembly. The dental device further includes a magnet to ensure stability and promote reliable charging.
