The tooth cleaning piece has a tooth cleaning body, a brush head, and a plurality of bristles. The first camera module is disposed on the bearing surface and is electrically connected to the control module. The first image capturing element receives light along an optical axis of the first optical lens. A first angle θ1 between the optical axis and a first direction, is in a range of 5°to 30°. The first light source module is disposed on the bearing surface.
Handle for an electrically operated personal care implement
A handle for an electrically operated personal-care implement includes a metal tube housing having a metal wall with an opening and an inner surface, the inner surface defining an inner cavity of the housing for accommodating an energy source, and a switch assembly for activating the energy source. The switch assembly, including a hard switch component and a soft switch component, is arranged in the opening and seals the opening from the inner surface of the wall. The hard switch component comprises a frame having a recess and attached to the inner surface of the metal wall thereby surrounding the opening and providing an undercut between the recess and the inner surface. The undercut is open to the opening, and the soft switch component is positioned in the undercut to at least partially cover the opening.
TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHBRUSH HANDLE WITH FINGER LOCATOR ZONES
Handle of toothbrush including a central region to locate fingers, and an index finger locator zone. The central region including thumb zone and two other finger locator zones, for receiving the thumb and middle finger on opposite sides of the central region of the toothbrush handle. Toothbrush having such handle and attachment configured for attachment to the handle of a toothbrush wherein the attachment including thumb zone and two other finger locator zones, for receiving the thumb and middle finger on opposite sides.
Linear device and electric device with linear motor
A linear motor is disclosed. The linear motor includes an armature mounted for driven linear oscillation substantially along a longitudinal direction; a secondary mass mounted for linear oscillation substantially along the longitudinal direction; and a coupling unit for coupling the armature and the secondary mass. The coupling unit includes at least two coupling spring assemblies and at least a coupling element, the coupling spring assemblies being arranged in planes perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and being spaced apart from each other, and the coupling element being fixedly connected with the coupling spring assemblies.
Oral care implement and refill head therefor
A refill head (100), and oral care implement incorporating the same, wherein the refill head (100) can be uncoupled from a stem (220) of a handle (200) by withdrawing the refill head (100) from the stem of a handle (200) along the longitudinal axis of the oral care implement, which results in locking members (134) on the refill head (100) disengaging from an engagement rib (230) on the stem (220). The locking members (134) and engagement rib (230) may be aligned with or angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the oral care implement. A portion of the stem may be visible through a portion of the refill head to reinforce the proper connection between the refill head and the handle.
Plurality of mass-produced multi-component plastic housings
A plurality of mass-produced identical multi-component housings for toothbrush handles, each housing having a length of about 120-200 mm, which is at least three times greater than a maximal orthogonal dimension thereof. Each housings includes at least a first component made of a first hard-plastic material, a second component made of a second hard-plastic material, and a third component made of a soft-plastic material, which are integrally joined together to form a generally tubular structure. Each housing includes a tolerance-elimination element made of the second plastic material, attached to one of first component's ends, at least partially overmolded by the soft-plastic material, and having an average length of about 3-20 mm, which average length varies among at least some of the tolerance-elimination elements by a lengthwise dimension that is at least ten times greater than the lengthwise maximal dimension variations of the length among the individual multi-component housings.
Personal hygiene device with treatment force measurement unit
A toothbrush has a handle and a treatment head mounted for movement relative to the handle against a spring force when a treatment force is applied in at least one treatment direction onto the treatment head. A treatment force measurement unit for determining the applied treatment force includes a capacitive force senor having a first electrode fixedly mounted with respect to the handle and a second electrode mounted at a distance from the first electrode. The second electrode is movably mounted with respect to the handle. A spring unit is arranged between the first and the second electrode. A control circuit determines at least one parameter indicative of the capacitance between the first and second electrodes, wherein the second electrode is mechanically coupled with the treatment head and is arranged to be moved relative to the first electrode when the treatment force is applied at the treatment head.
Brush attachment, electric toothbrush handpiece and electric toothbrush comprising the electric toothbrush handpiece and the brush attachment
A brush attachment for a toothbrush handpiece, in particular for an electric toothbrush handpiece, has a head portion which includes a brush head, has an attachment portion which includes an interface receptacle, and has a neck portion arranged between the head portion and the attachment portion, wherein the interface receptacle is implemented by a universal interface receptacle for receiving at least two different interfaces of different toothbrush handpieces.
Oral hygiene systems and methods
A method for promoting compliance with an oral hygiene regimen includes displaying, on a display device, a representation of at least a portion of a set of teeth of a user. The method also includes overlaying an indicium on the representation such that the indicium is associated with a first section of the representation. Responsive to a determination, via at least one of one or more processors, that a head of an oral hygiene device is positioned directly adjacent to a first section of the set of teeth that corresponds to the first section of the representation for at least a predetermined amount of time, the indicium is removed from the display device.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement, such as a toothbrush, which includes a handle and a replacement head utilizing a specially designed structure for coupling the replacement head to the handle of the oral care implement. The replacement head comprises a head and a tubular sleeve comprising a cavity for receiving a handle. A protuberance protrudes radially inward from an inner surface of the tubular sleeve for engaging a boss of a stem on the handle to impede rotation of the tubular sleeve about the stem in a first angular direction. A locking tab protrudes radially inward from the inner surface of the tubular sleeve for engaging an undercut surface of the boss to prevent axial disengagement of the tubular sleeve from the stem. The locking tab is circumferentially spaced from the protuberance so that a first axial channel exists therebetween for receiving a section of the boss.
