The supporting structure has an inner surface facing a tooth surface. At least one brushing chamber is provided at the inner surface side. The brushing chamber comprises a flexible wall part being deformable by pressurizing or depressurizing the brushing chamber. Bristles extend externally from the flexible wall part. In a method of brushing teeth, a plurality of teeth is encompassed by the mouthpiece, and the at least one brushing chamber is alternatingly pressurized and depressurized.
DENTAL CARE MOUTHPIECE CLEANING SYSTEM
A mouthpiece cleaning device includes a U-shaped mouthpiece skeleton that defines opposing channels to receive a user's teeth therein. The channels each have a respective teeth facing surface, and transducers are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing surfaces. UV LEDs are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing services. The UV LEDs are interspersed with the transducers.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CUSTOMIZED AND PERSONALIZED ORAL IRRIGATOR
A customized oral irrigator which is adapted to the user's dentition, has multiple nozzles or cutout openings to point to the area to irrigate. User can anchor such device by biting with the teeth and irrigate the teeth and gum, especially between the teeth and under the gum, in one instance. Such a device is fast and effective. It will be beneficial to everyone but will especially benefit busy professionals, children, seniors, handicapped, disabled, and other users who have difficulty cleaning teeth, for example people who wear dental devices such as braces. This device is meant to combine oral care procedures such as tooth brushing and dental flossing in one instance and will yield better dental hygiene and with better compliance than conventional brushing and flossing and conventional single channel oral irrigators.
AUTOMATIC TOOTHBRUSHES
Automatic toothbrushes are disclosed herein. A toothbrush configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a handle and a mouthguard coupled to the handle. The mouthguard can be configured to be positioned within a mouth of a user over multiple teeth of the user. A brush assembly having a plurality of bristles can be removably positioned within the mouthguard for engaging and cleaning the teeth of the user. A motor can be disposed within or coupled to the handle and configured to articulate the brush assembly within the mouthguard.
HYDRAULIC DRIVEN BRUSH - INTERDENTAL JET COMBINATION
The invention relates to an oral cleaning system (100) for cleaning teeth with a combination of brushing and interdental liquid cleaning. The oral cleaning system (100) comprises a cleaning head (200) as well as a support unit (300) having a fluid reservoir (350) for containing a fluid (110). The cleaning head (200) comprises a brush (240) for brushing the teeth, and an orifice (250) for emitting a part of the fluid (110) for interdental liquid cleaning. A first fluid channel (210) guides the fluid from the fluid reservoir to a hydraulic motor (230) driving the brush (240), and to the orifice (250). The cleaning head (200) further comprises a second fluid channel (220) configured for transporting at least a part of the fluid (110) back from the hydraulic motor (230) to the fluid reservoir (350) of the support unit (300).
DEVICE FOR DENTAL HYGIENE
Described herein is a device for dental hygiene, including a brushing apparatus configured to wrap simultaneously all teeth of the upper or lower dental arch, a supporting structure including a covering case configured to be entirely inserted inside the oral cavity and to support the brushing apparatus, and a motorization unit configured to move cleaning elements of the brushing apparatus. The brushing apparatus includes a first brushing assembly configured to act on the vestibular surface of the teeth, a second brushing assembly configured to act on the lingual surface of the teeth, and a third brushing assembly configured to act on the occlusal surface of the teeth.
Electromagnetic toothbrush
A magnetically controlled abrasive system (MCAS) having a magnetic system to manipulate a magnetically controlled unit is provided. More specifically, a track member is operatively coupled to a first magnetic unit and a first surface of a first body. The track member facilitates movement of the first magnetic unit with respect to the first body. A second body is positioned proximal to the first body. More specifically, at least one abrasive protrusion is operatively coupled to a second surface of the second body and a second magnetic unit is operatively coupled to the second body. The first magnetic unit generates a magnetic field which interacts with the second magnetic unit. The interaction controls movement of the second body including movement of the at least one abrasive protrusion positioned in communication with the second body.
MOUTHPIECE-TYPE ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH AND CLEANING DEVICE THEREFOR
Proposed is a mouthpiece-type electric toothbrush. The mouthpiece-type electric toothbrush includes a toothbrush body a first tooth insertion groove in which the upper teeth of a user are inserted and a second tooth insertion groove in which the lower teeth are inserted. The toothbrush body has a plurality of bristles having different lengths and formed in the first tooth insertion groove and the second tooth insertion groove in accordance with a tooth mold patterned after a row of teeth of the user.
U-SHAPED ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
The utility model discloses a U-shaped electric toothbrush. The U-shaped electric toothbrush includes a handle and a U-shaped brush head. The U-shaped brush head includes an inner brush piece and an outer brush piece separated from each other. Bristles are provided on opposite surfaces of the inner brush piece and the outer brush piece. A driving device configured to drive the inner brush piece and the outer brush piece to move in a reciprocating and alternating manner is provided on the handle. The driving device includes a motor, a connecting rod, a connecting sleeve sheathed on the connecting rod, and a gear set. The motor drives, through the gear set, the connecting rod and the connecting sleeve to move in a reciprocating and alternating manner in a radial direction of the connecting rod. The outer brush piece is connected to an upper end of the connecting sleeve and is drivable to move by the connecting sleeve. An upper end of the connecting rod passes through the connecting sleeve and protrudes upward. The inner brush piece is connected to the upper end of the connecting rod and is drivable to move by the connecting rod. According to the utility model, the inner brush piece and the outer brush piece are drivable to move in a reciprocating and alternating manner in upward and downward directions in an oral cavity to clean teeth with the bristles. Therefore, the amplitude of motion of the bristles is increased, cleaning efficiency is improved, and the time spent by a user on tooth brushing is shortened.
