Oral cleansing device with energy conservation
A brushing device including a motor having an eccentric drive shaft, an output shaft operably connected to the motor, and a power train assembly coupled between the eccentric drive shaft and the output shaft. The power train converts rotation of the eccentric drive shaft into an oscillating movement of the output shaft. The power train includes one or more conservation features that absorb energy when the output shaft rotates in a first direction and reapply energy to the output shaft when it rotates in a second direction.

FILAMENT FOR AN ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT AND ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT
A filament for an oral care implement has a longitudinal axis and a substantially cross-shaped cross-sectional area extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The cross-shaped cross-sectional area has four projections and four channels. The projections and channels are arranged in an alternating manner. Each channel has a concave curvature formed by neighboring and converging projections. The concave curvature has a radius, and each projection is end-rounded thereby forming a curvature. The curvature has a diameter, and the ratio of the diameter of the curvature of the projection to the radius of the curvature of the channel is from about 0.2 to about 1.5.

BRACKET-TYPE TOOTH CLEANER
A bracket-type tooth cleaner comprises a dental sleeve with bristles, a vibrating frame embedded in the dental sleeve, a motor and a housing for accommodating the motor; a spindle of the motor is fixedly connected to the vibrating frame, so that the vibrating frame drives the dental sleeve to vibrate. The advantage of the bracket-type tooth cleaner is that:
the motor drives the vibrating frame to vibrate to cause the vibration of the dental sleeve, and the bristles on the surface of the dental sleeve clean the teeth. Since the shape of the dental sleeve is the same as the shape of the teeth, the tooth cleaner could clean teeth without dead angles; the motor drives the bristles on the surface of the dental sleeve to vibrate at a high speed, so the gaps between teeth could be effectively cleaned. The structure of the tooth cleaner is simple.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
An electric toothbrush according to the present disclosure includes: a shaft to which a brush is attached; a primary drive unit that operates the shaft to let the brush perform a cleaning motion; and a supplementary drive unit that enables the shaft to move eccentrically. Accordingly, the electric toothbrush can facilitate entry of bristles of the brush between teeth and improve performance of cleaning between the teeth.
CLEANING APPLIANCE
A dental cleaning appliance includes a handle and a fluid delivery system for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user. Part of the fluid delivery system is moveable relative to the handle as the appliance is moved along the teeth of the user. A sensor provides an output which varies with movement of that part of the fluid delivery system relative to the handle. A control circuit actuates the delivery of working fluid to the teeth of the user depending on the output from the sensor.
CLEANING APPLIANCE
A dental cleaning appliance includes a handle, and a cleaning tool detachably connected to the handle. The cleaning tool includes a nozzle for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user, a stem extending between the handle and the nozzle, and a fluid reservoir for storing working fluid. The fluid reservoir is connected to, and extends around, the stem.

Cleaning appliance
A dental cleaning appliance includes a handle, a fluid reservoir for storing a working fluid, a fluid delivery system for receiving working fluid from the fluid reservoir, and for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user, and an external collar comprising a fluid port, the collar being moveable relative to the handle between a first position in which the fluid port is exposed to allow the fluid reservoir to be replenished, and a second position in which the fluid port is occluded.
