A tooth whitening and tooth strengthening method is disclosed which is harmless to the human body and with which it is possible to remove dental plaques, tartars, coloring components and organic pellicles, promote calcification, repair the surface of teeth by reconstruction of enamel, whiten teeth and prevent caries.

The tooth whitening and tooth strengthening method first applies acid solvents such as citric acid, acetic acid, malic acid, malic acid or ascorbic acid with a pH of 0.5 to 5.0. to the surface of teeth as a first stage of treatment, applies hydroxyapatite which is dissolved in saliva or saliva-like solvent as a second stage, and then applies fluoride as a third stage.

An article in form of a strip for use in the oral cavity. The article includes a water insoluble delivery carrier comprising solid hydrophilic particles comprising at least one active agent for oral care, wherein: (i) at least about 20 parts by weight of the solid hydrophilic particles (20) dissolve in about 100 parts by weight of water, and/or (ii) wherein the solid hydrophilic particles (20) swell by at least about 50% in water. The active agent(s) can include bleaching agent(s), antimicrobial agent(s), anti-calculus agent(s), healing agent(s), anti-caries agent(s), dentinal desensitizing agent(s), anesthetic agent(s), antifungal agent(s), coolant(s), anti-inflammatory agent(s), selective H-2 antagonist(s), nutrient(s), erythritol, probiotics, fluoride ion source(s), or combinations thereof.

An oral care composition including a hydrophobic phase and a hydrophilic phase is disclosed. The hydrophobic phase may include a source of hydrogen peroxide and an acyl donor, and the hydrophilic phase may include an enzyme having perhydrolytic activity that catalyzes the generation of peracetic acid between the source of hydrogen peroxide and the acyl donor.

Thereafter, any remaining support material is removed by water or other solvent.

A whitening light includes a mouthpiece having a light array arranged along the mouthpiece for directing light onto an exposed portion of teeth of a user. The whitening light includes a rear portion comprising a first power source communicably coupled to the light array and a first charging mechanism configured to receive power transferred from a second charging mechanism located on a case for the whitening light. The first power source includes a rechargeable battery charged by the second charging mechanism to a power output sufficient to power the whitening light to emit light configured to whiten teeth upon selection of a button on the rear portion of the whitening light to commence a treatment session, to emit the light for a predetermined duration corresponding to a duration of the treatment session, and to automatically switch the light array to an off-setting following expiration of the predetermined duration.

An electric toothbrush includes a handle, a toothbrush head, and a charging base. One end of the handle is configured for outputting ultrasonic vibrations. The toothbrush head is configured for simultaneously wrapping upper and lower rows of teeth of a human body. The toothbrush head is configured to be disposed on the end of the handle and vibrates with the end of the handle to simultaneously clean the upper and lower rows of teeth of the human body. The charging base is disposed at the other end of the handle and charges the handle. And the charging base includes a sterilization unit for sterilizing the handle and the toothbrush head. The electric toothbrush provided by the present application is convenient to operate, and is configured for being charged through a charging base and being sterilized after being used, with complete functions and a wide application range.
