AUXILIARY PRESSURE APPLYING DEVICE FOR STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE
20240325134 · 2024-10-03 ·

An auxiliary pressure device for stress urinary incontinence includes: an expansion body with a structure for insertion into the vagina, a first state before insertion into the vagina, and a second state after insertion into the vagina; an adjustment system for maintaining and/or releasing the first state of the expansion body; and a force application part connected to the expansion body, with a traction structure for the user to apply force to move the expansion body out of the vagina. The auxiliary pressure device includes an adjustment system. The adjustment system improves the convenience of the expansion body entering the vagina through the imparting of the first state and the comfort during insertion into the vagina, and the positional stability of the expansion body in the vagina to avoid discomfort caused by position changes during use, as well as embarrassment caused by accidental falling off, minimizing the doctor's intervention.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DEFORMING A BODY CHANNEL

Devices, system and methods for deforming body channels are disclosed herein. At least some embodiments described may be used to deform a body channel so as to decrease or prevent the normal intrachannel flow of material within the body channel. Such deformation may be used to treat such maladies as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.

SYSTEM FOR SPHINCTERIC AND OTHER TISSUE REGENERATION

The invention provides a system treating a weak or leaking urinary or other sphincter. The system includes two magnets and one or more devices to immobilize one of the magnets on a first side of the body organ to immobilize the other magnet on the second side of the body organ. The magnets may be positioned around the body organ with opposite poles facing each other. The invention may be used to induce the formation of muscle tissue of a sphincter such as a urethral sphincter or gastroesophageal sphincter, and also for mechanically occluding a leaking urethral or vesicovaginal fistula.

URINE FLOW SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE

Disclosed is a bladder drainage apparatus comprising a tube including a hollow interior extending through the tube, a flexible anchor, which behaves spring-like, connected to or at one end of the tube, and a magnetic member connected to or at the other end of the tube. The tube is moveable when the magnetic member is engaged by an external magnetic force, creating magnetic traction, and moving the tube, e.g., outward (from its original position, where the sphincter is typically closed), such that it holds open a sphincter, allowing urine to drain from the bladder, to the urethra, to outside of the body. When the external magnetic force is released, the magnetic engagement is terminated, and the force of the flexible anchor pulls the tube back to its original position, whereby the sphincter is again closed, and accordingly urine flow is stopped or otherwise limited.

Device, method, and system for sphincter closing and reopening to treat infertility caused by retrograde ejaculation

A device, system, and method for closing and reopening a sphincter in a body, such as for closing and opening an internal urinary sphincter of a bladder, thereby blocking retrograde ejaculation, by employing controllable electromagnets. Using the present device, system, and method, the patients can selectively close their bladder's sphincter as desired, for example, to selectively block retrograde ejaculation, preventing semen from entering the bladder of the patient and thereby preventing infertility of the patient. The solution helps regain the elasticity function of the sphincter to allow it to close as per normal to prevent retrograde ejaculation. A series of magnetizable metal objects are positioned in or surrounding the bladder wall at the junction with the urethra, with each of the magnetizable metal objects being electromagnetically controlled to have a controllable closing/reopening of the bladder's sphincter, thereby preventing retrograde ejaculation while also allowing the passage of urine as per normal.

MEDICAL DEVICE FOR CONSTRICTING A BODY PASSAGE AND A METHOD THEREOF

A plurality of bodies that attract one another are provided for implanting in a patient, specifically around a body passage of the patient. For example, the body passage may be the urethra, and the plurality of bodies may be implanted around the outside of the urethra, and the bodies being substantially coaxial with the urethra. The attraction between adjacent bodies may be provided by a magnetic or a mechanical force.

The present invention provides methods and systems for treating conditions and diseases of a patient's body cavities, including urinary incontinence, transitional cell carcinoma, and other conditions. In particular, the present invention describes a drug delivery system for controlled delivery of drugs to body cavities of a patient, and the use of this system for treatment of the body cavities of the patient, for example, intravesical treatment. Many medications prescribed to patients with urinary tract diseases act locally. In many cases, such medications are administered orally or intravenously and spread through the digestive tract and bloodstream throughout the body, thereby affecting other body systems such as the immune system, kidneys, or liver and causing problematic adverse reactions. For local treatment, the present invention applies the drug directly to the cavity in a minimally invasive procedure.
