A load-bearing jacket having an integrated tool belt system connected to a jacket. More specifically, an integrated tool belt comprising a plurality of flexible belt straps and a plurality of rigid pieces, each rigid piece paired with a corresponding flexible belt strap to enhance the rigidity of the plurality of flexible belt straps. Each of the plurality of flexible belt straps can have two ends, wherein a first end of each of the plurality of flexible belt straps can be permanently connected to the jacket and a second end of each of the plurality of flexible belt straps can be connected to the external surface of the jacket by a locking system and designed to hinge around the first end of each of the plurality of flexible belt straps.

A lower body protective armor. The lower body protective armor includes at least one strap configured to secured to shoulders, a waist or both of a user. A fabric material includes an upper edge secured to the strap so that the fabric material extends downward and hangs from the strap. The fabric material is configured to cover a lower body of the user, such as below the waist of the user. The present invention may further include at least one plate made of a bullet-resistance material. The plate is disposed within the fabric material.

Garments with radiation-reducing pockets and harnessing are described. A shirt can include a pocket made of a radiation-reducing material to place an electronic device such as a smartphone within. This can reduce the amount of radiation absorbed by a user's body. A harness system of the shirt can also distribute the weight of the smartphone to improve the comfort of the user.

The present invention provides a sensor garment including a harness. In one exemplary embodiment, the sensor garment includes a textile portion, a device-retention element coupled to the textile portion, and a stretchable harness coupled to the textile portion. The harness includes a conductive element disposed between layers of film. The conductive element includes a first termination point at the device retention element, configured to connect to a monitor device. The conductive element includes a second termination point configured to connect to a sensor or transceiver.

A safety harness assembly includes a jump suit that may be worn. The jump suit has an inner layer and an outer layer. A mesh is coupled to the jump and objects may be coupled to the mesh. A harness is coupled to the jump suit. Thus, the harness is worn when the jump suit is worn thereby facilitating the harness to be coupled around a user. The harness is positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer. A rope is coupled to the harness. The rope may be coupled to a stanchion thereby facilitating the harness to inhibit the user from falling off of a support on the stanchion.

A protective clothing system for protecting a user from high velocity particles and lacerating objects. The protective clothing system generally includes a clothing item having a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion of the clothing item is constructed of three to fifteen sheets of protective material to protect the front portion of the body of the user from high velocity particles and lacerating objects. The rear portion of the clothing item may have no protective material or significantly less sheets of protective material compared to the front portion to help reduce the weight of the clothing item. The joints of the clothing item corresponding to the human joints are relatively free moving to provide increased mobility to the user.

Safety harness (100) having an upper portion (6) for surrounding a torso of a wearer and a lower portion (8) configured to clutch calves of the wearer. The harness includes left and right guide straps (26) which extent from the upper portion (6) to the lower portion (8) and which each accommodate a tension member (54) which may be a steel cable which is slideable within a wear preventing sheath. The lower portion (8) includes clutching means (12) which have calf straps (38). A lower portion of each tension member (54) is laced between spaced ends of the one or more calf straps (38) in such a manner that tensioning of the tension member (54) causes one or more of the calf straps (38) to clutch a calf of the wearer. An upper portion of the tension member (54) is connected to or constitutes a lanyard (60) for connection to a restraint. The harness (100) may include a pair of overalls (102) or a pair of trousers.

Protective garments having first and second elastic straps and methods of manufacturing the same are described herein. The first strap may be positioned partially or entirely along a first strap line that extends from a left shoulder region to a right leg. The second strap may be positioned partially or entirely along a second strap line that extends from a right shoulder region to a left leg. The first and second strap lines intersect at an intersection.

A jacket includes an inner harness, a jacket for wearing over the harness, and a load for attachment to the harness through attachment openings in the jacket. The load can be an airbag, a backpack, or other load or load carrying member for attaching to the harness. The jacket has at least one back opening providing access to the inner harness, to facilitate the attachment of the load to the harness. The jacket can be readily removed without disturbing the harness or its load. The removed jacket is effectively carried by the load and/or harness to which the load is secured. The inner harness can be used to carry loads without using the jacket.

A garment worn about an individual's torso that holds one or more firearms, typically in a concealed fashion. The invention may include a vest or other sleeveless outerwear that has various pockets on the exterior and one or more holsters on the interior. The invention may allow the locations and orientations of the holsters to be customized by the wearer through a hook and loop fastening system. Each holster may also include adjustable straps and quick release clasps.
