A hooded garment may include a torso portion configured to be worn over a wearer's torso, the torso portion defining a neck opening configured to surround a neck when worn. A hood is connected to the torso portion and a face opening. A screen has a mesh panel, an edge portion secured to the hood in a vicinity of the face opening, and a free edge portion. Connector is or are inside a head-receiving volume and/or torso portion at least in a posterior half of the hooded garment. A complementary connector(s) is on the free edge portion of the screen. The screen is movable between a screening configuration in which the mesh panel screens the face opening, and a stowed configuration in which the free edge portion is connected to the inside of the head-receiving volume and/or torso portion via engagement of the at least one connector with the at least one complementary connector.

An element for providing air exchange between the internal microenvironment and the external environment and can be used in the production of air-permeable clothing for anti-insect's protection. The element includes: a flat part with at least one air inlet opening and a curved part with at least one air outlet that is not coaxial with the inlet opening of the flat part; the inner surface of the curved part having at least one segment of the surface of the torus obtained by a horizontal cross-section of the torus, a vertical circular cross-section parallel to the centroidal axis of the torus; the curved part is connected to the flat part so that all the inlet openings of the flat part are covered by a wall of the torus segment of the curved part and are in communication with the outlet or outlets of the curved part with the air exchange possibility.

A jump screen may be a jump suit formed of one or more fabrics (and combinations of the same) that may limit access of insects to contact with a wearer's skin. The fabrics may be those that may be used for the mesh of window screens. The jump suit may include drawstrings or other closure mechanisms around the ankle portions and/or wrist portions of the jump suit so that insects may not enter through the ankle or wrist openings of the jump suit to contact with the wearer's skin. The jump suit may include a hood portion having a drawstring that may seal or close around the wearer's face area. The jump suit may include hook and loop fasteners for the wearer to put on the jump suit and close it.
