Transcatheter valve prosthesis for blood vessel
A transcatheter temporary valve prosthesis for blood vessel comprising an expandable support structure (5″), a valve (7), a filter (12) and a conveyor (6); said support structure (5″) forming a tubular shape when expanded, with a distal and a proximal end, said valve (7) being located at said distal end and said conveyor (6) extending within said support structure (5), from said proximal to said distal end and including a central passage that is adapted to act as an introducer for other devices.
Delivery systems with telescoping capsules for deploying prosthetic heart valve devices and associated methods
Delivery systems with telescoping capsules for delivering prosthetic heart valve devices and associated methods are disclosed herein. A delivery system configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a delivery capsule having a first housing, a second housing slidably disposed within a portion of the first housing, and a prosthetic device constrained within the first and second housings. The delivery capsule can further include first and second chamber defined in part by the first and second housings. During deployment, fluid is delivered to the first chamber to move the first housing distally over the second housing, thereby releasing a portion of the prosthetic device. Subsequently, fluid is delivered to the second chamber such that the first and second housings move together in the distal direction to release a second portion of the prosthetic device.
HEART VALVE PREP ASSIST PACKAGING
A tray assembly may include a bottom portion having a bottom wall and first, second, third, and fourth side walls each extending upward from the bottom wall, and a top portion having a top wall and first, second, third, and fourth sides. The top portion is configured to releasably engage the bottom portion. The bottom portion includes at least one notch formed in an upper edge of the first side wall, the at least one notch being configured to receive an elongate shaft of an implant delivery device. A kit for preparing a replacement heart valve implant for delivery may include the tray assembly, at least one rinsing bowl, and a loading tools kit for attaching the replacement heart valve implant to the implant delivery device.
VENOUS VALVE PROSTHESIS
A venous valve prosthetic implant for treatment of venous disease may include an expandable anchoring frame, a valve seat attached to the anchoring frame, a ball retention member attached to the anchoring frame, and a ball disposed within the lumen of the anchoring frame, between the valve seat and the ball retention member. The anchoring frame may include a first end, a second end, and a middle valve portion, where the middle valve portion expands to a smaller diameter than a diameter of either the first end or the second end. The ball may move back and forth within the middle valve portion, between a fully open position and a fully closed position.
Tissue grasping devices and related methods
The present disclosure relates generally to systems, devices, and methods for supporting, stabilizing, and/or positioning a medical device, such as a transcatheter medical device. The stabilizer allows for control of degrees of freedom from no movement to free movement to selective movements, to substantially translation only movement and/or to substantially rotational only movement of the medical device. The patent describes pure mechanical embodiment as well as smart embodiments that can synergistically sense, actuate and/or transmit data between the stabilizer, medical device and control or display system to operate and/or deploy the device/therapy.
CONNECTING DEVICE FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
The present invention relates to a novel medical connecting device and medical devices comprising at least one such medical connecting device as well as its use in medical prostheses.
CATHETER AND ASSEMBLY WITH A POSITIONAL IDENTIFIER FOR A MEDICAL IMPLANT
A catheter includes a positional identifier / marker at a tip section for a medical implant that needs to be aligned rotationally and/or axially and/or in terms of tilting in a human or animal body. The positional identifier is shaped and/or arranged such that a rotational orientation and/or an axial orientation and/or a tilted orientation of the tip section relative to the surrounding tissue is discernable from the position and/or orientation of the positional identifier
Prosthetic heart valve packaging and attachment assembly
A system for heart valve repair includes a packaging assembly for storing the replacement heart valve. The packaging assembly includes a valve support having a base for holding the replacement heart valve, a ring positioned within the valve support and configured to fit around a circumference of the replacement heart valve, and a retention mechanism. The retention mechanism includes a cap and plurality of sutures configured to be attached to the cap and to the replacement heart. The packaging assembly having a locked configuration in which the ring and the valve support are locked together and the sutures tension the replacement heart valve. The packaging assembly is designed to hold and transport a replacement heart valve and fits within a shipment jar.
ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING A PRE-LOADED IMPLANT AND METHODS OF STERILIZING ASSEMBLIES
Aspects of the disclosure relate to storage assemblies including at least part of a delivery device and an implant. The storage assemblies are configured to trap sterilizing ethylene oxide gas using its high water solubility and converting the escaped ethylene oxide to less detrimental ethylene glycol and ethylene chlorohydrin to protect the implant from damage. In one example, the storage assembly includes an inner container housing the implant and sterilizing fluid and an outer container positioned over the inner container, wherein the outer container is at least partially filled with aqueous water. The implant may be a prosthetic heart valve. Aspects of the disclosure also relate to methods of sterilizing the storage assemblies of the disclosure.
COMPRESSIBLE SHUNT IMPLANT
A medical implant comprises a central flow portion having a first network of struts forming two or more cells, a first set of anchoring arms, and a second set of anchoring arms. The two or more cells are arranged linearly and extend from the first set of anchoring arms to the second set of anchoring arms.
