Pressure reducing valve

A pressure reducing valve has a seal member, which is mounted on a side wall of a piston. The seal member is arranged between a first ring and a second ring. Consequently, depending on the direction of displacement of the piston, the first ring or the second ring is positioned on one of a displacement direction upstream side or a displacement direction downstream side of the seal member. The first ring and the second ring are made of a resin material, for example a polytetrafluoroethylene resin or a polyetheretherketone resin, having lower coefficient of friction compared with that of the seal member.

Multi-Function Three-Stage Pressure Regulator
20220382302 · 2022-12-01 ·

An integrated pressure regulator is provided with three stages configured to reduce an extreme tank pressure down to a typical working pressure. The regulator is configured to supply a steady working pressure until the tank pressure is reduced to little more than the working pressure itself. Stages of the pressure regulator are integrated into a body and arranged to minimize regulator mass and volume. A thermally-triggered pressure relief device may be included with a triggering time adapted to enhance the safety of smaller cylinders that may be used, e.g., in aerial applications.

EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE REGULATOR
20220057817 · 2022-02-24 ·

An externally adjustable pressure regulator includes a body having a shoulder, a longitudinal axis and a high pressure inlet. The body has an opening along a side. A bonnet has a regulated pressure outlet and is engaged with the body. A piston is positioned in part in the body and the bonnet. The piston has a shoulder, a longitudinal bore and a transverse bore at about the end thereof in flow communication with the longitudinal bore. A spring is disposed on the piston. A wedging element is positioned in the opening in the body side and is in contact with the spring. An adjusting ring engages the wedging element to move it into the spring to increase compression of the spring and off of the spring to decrease compression. Increasing compression of the spring increases a spring force of the spring on the piston and decreasing compression of the spring decreases the spring force on the piston.

AIR PRESSURE CONTROLLER

An air pressure controller having an inlet and an outlet, the controller may be configured to reduce air pressure between the inlet and the outlet and includes an exhaust port configured to exhaust air if a pressure at the outlet rises above a predetermined level.

Pressure-reducing valve having a residual pressure function built into the reducing valve

The invention relates to a device for regulating the flow rate and/or pressure of a fluid, such as valve for a pressure gas cylinder, comprising a reducing valve including a first plug designed to be moved in the normal flow direction of the fluid during closure. The reducing valve also comprises a plunger to which the plug is coupled. The face of the plunger that is oriented towards the first plug defines a regulation chamber together with the body. The aforementioned face also comprises a seal that engages with a corresponding surface of the body such as to form a second plug for maintaining residual pressure. The regulation device also comprises a means for preloading and releasing a spring acting on the opposite face of the plunger.

Pressure reducing valve

A valve element of a pressure reducing valve includes a taper portion seated on an inner periphery of a valve hole that includes a first area, a second area and a third area in order from an upstream side. The first area is provided such that, when the valve element is open, the height of a passage defined between the first area and the taper portion gradually reduces toward a downstream side. The second area is provided such that the height of a passage defined between the second area and the taper portion is constant when the valve element is open and the entire second area contacts the taper portion when the valve element is closed. The third area is provided such that, when the valve element is open, the height of a passage defined between the third area and the taper portion gradually increases toward the downstream side.

Adjustable Multistage Pressure Reducing Regulator

A multi-stage pressure regulation system, device and associated methodology for reducing the pressure of gas passing through a gas sample conditioning system. The device and method allow for automatic and/or manual configuration settings for regulating different types of gas having different profiles while still avoiding dew point dropout thereby ensuring accurate sample analysis at a downstream analyzer. The pressure regulating device includes a housing having a core, a vapor sample input port, a plurality of openings on an upper surface, a plurality of pressure regulating valves configured to reduce the pressure of a vapor sample, and an assembly having a base and substantially central stem orthogonal to the base and extending axially therefrom, the stem being disposed within the core.

Integrated variable pressure and flow regulator
11199861 · 2021-12-14 · ·

An integrated variable pressure and flow regulator comprising a manifold body, a pressure regulator, a flow control valve, a flow meter and a flow diverter. The manifold body includes a coupling face to which the pressure regulator is attached, a flow control valve cavity which receives the flow control valve, a flow meter cavity which receives the flow meter and a flow diverter cavity which receives the flow diverter. A central fluid transfer passageway of the manifold connects an inlet with outlet ports in fluid communication through the cavities. The pressure regulator maintains an outlet fluid pressure less than inlet fluid pressure as per a reducer pressure at outlet ports. The flow control valve maintains an outlet fluid flow rate, as per a flow rate setting, for the fluid flow at the outlet fluid pressure. The flow diverter allows to selectively divert the fluid through any of the outlet ports.
