A gauge for a hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator includes first indicia and second indicia. The first indicia provides an indication of a flow rate of a gas exiting an outlet of the hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator when the gas exits with a pressure below a gauge threshold pressure. The second indicia provides an indication of the pressure of the gas exiting the outlet of the hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator when the pressure of the gas exiting the outlet is above the gauge threshold pressure.

Centerlines of the delivery channel, the output channel, and the auxiliary channel are arranged in the same plane.

Regulated fill station

A pressure regulator for controlling the flow of gas from a high pressure source to a low pressure device and regulating a pressure to the low pressure device includes a body having a high pressure inlet and a regulated pressure outlet. The body has a series of passages and bores including first and second regulator valve assembly bores and first and second fill valve assembly bores. The first and second regulator valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages and the first and second fill valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages. A regulator valve assembly includes a seal, a regulator valve piston, a biasing member and an adjusting plug positioned in the first regulator valve assembly bore, and a seal, a seat, a ball, a spring and a plug positioned in the second regulator valve assembly. A fill valve assembly includes a seal, a jam nut, a spring, a valve shaft, and a shaft actuator positioned in the first fill valve assembly bore and a seal, a seat, a ball, a spring and a plug positioned in the second fill valve assembly bore.

Pressure reducing valve

A pressure reducing valve includes a piston disposed in a cylinder chamber; a valve element that is coupled to the piston and opens and closes a valve seat; a valve spring that biases the valve element in a direction in which the valve element is moved away from the valve seat; and a biasing member that biases the valve seat toward a side opposite to the piston. The pressure reducing valve is configured to reduce a primary pressure of a fluid to a secondary pressure. The valve seat is disposed such that the valve seat reciprocates in the same direction as a direction in which the valve element reciprocates in the primary pressure chamber. As a difference between the primary pressure and the secondary pressure increases, the valve seat moves toward the secondary pressure chamber.

Fluid regulator having integral fluid purge mechanism

A fluid regulator includes a housing that includes a flow path extending from an inlet to an outlet. A poppet valve is disposed within the flow path and that selectively allows a flow of fluid from the inlet to the outlet. A regulating interface adjusts a spring tension that is exerted toward the poppet valve. The regulating interface defines a boundary of the flow path and the spring tension defines a regulated flow of fluid through the flow path from the inlet to the outlet. A fluid purge mechanism is positioned within the regulating interface. The fluid purge mechanism adjusts the boundary of the flow path and manipulates the poppet valve to a maximum operating position to define a purging flow of the fluid from the inlet to the outlet.

A pressure regulating and pressure relief valve, has a valve body defining an inlet port, outlet port, valve seat and pressure relief opening. A pressure regulating plug is displaced during a first portion of a motion from an open position, which provides a continuous flow path from the inlet port to the outlet port, to a closed position in which the plug is closed against the valve seat to obstruct the continuous flow path. A spring biases the plug to the open position. An actuation surface is exposed to a pressure at the outlet port that displaces the plug against the spring bias toward the closed position. Further displacement of the plug beyond the closed position during a second portion of the motion that is beyond a range of the first portion of the motion, opens a relief flow path from the outlet port through the pressure release opening.

Pressure reducing valve device

A pressure reducing valve device includes a first body; a second body; a valve mechanism accommodated in the first body, and including a valve seat and a valve element; and a piston that is accommodated in the second body, defines a pressure reducing chamber, and is configured to move in accordance with a pressure in the pressure reducing chamber so as to move the valve element. The first body is connected to an inner portion of a connection portion having a bottomed cylindrical shape. The connection portion is provided in the second body to protrude outward. The valve seat is held between the first body and the second body in a direction in which the first body and the second body are attached to each other such that the valve seat is fixed in a flow passage.

A gas supply system includes: a gas tank; an unbalanced pressure reducing valve that reduces a pressure of the gas supplied from the gas tank; a pressure sensor that detects an outlet-side pressure of the pressure reducing valve; a flow rate changing unit that changes an outlet-side flow rate of the pressure reducing valve; and a control unit. The control unit changes the outlet-side flow rate between first and second flow rates, obtains a first pressure, which is a detection value of the pressure sensor when the outlet-side flow rate is the first flow rate, and a second pressure, which is a detection value of the pressure sensor when the outlet-side flow rate is the second flow rate, and estimates an inlet-side pressure of the pressure reducing valve using the relationship among the first flow rate, the second flow rate, and the difference between the first and second pressures.
