COMBINED WATER HEATER AND THERMOSTATIC CONTROL
A combined water heater and thermostatic control device that combines the functionality of a water heater, thermostat and shut off valve, and may be installed in various aircraft lavatory applications to facilitate installation, consolidate functions, and reduce the probability of leaks. The combined device may include a water tank assembly, a torque motor valve and servo valve assembly, and a shut-off valve assembly. The combined device may also include a temperature control unit that senses water temperature in a water tank assembly and may activate a water heater.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD
To control the temperature of a fluid with high accuracy, a temperature control system is equipped with: a circulation channel including a temperature control target and a tank containing a fluid adjusted to a specified temperature range including a target temperature of the temperature control target; and a first temperature controller that is arranged between the tank and the temperature control target in the circulation channel and that adjusts the temperature of the fluid to be supplied to the temperature control target.
WATER HEATER APPLIANCES AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A MIXING VALVE FLOW
A water heater appliance and methods for operating the same, as provided herein, may include a casing, a tank, an inlet conduit, an electric heating system, a mixing valve, and a controller. The electric heating system may be in thermal communication with the tank. The mixing valve may be mounted to the casing downstream from the tank. The controller may be operably coupled to the electric heating system and the mixing valve. The controller may be configured to initiate a mixing cycle. The mixing cycle may include detecting a flow demand at the water heater appliance, directing the mixing valve to a programmed park position in response to detecting the flow demand, determining expiration of a park period following directing the mixing valve to the programmed park position, and releasing the mixing valve from the programmed park position in response to determining expiration of the park period.
FAUCET HANDLE WITH ANGLED INTERFACE
A faucet assembly including a handle that rotates about a rotational axis extending perpendicular to an angled interface for adjusting a first water parameter. A dial is supported for rotation independent of the handle for adjusting a second water parameter.
HOT WATER SUPPLY DEVICE
A hot water supply device includes a heater, a water channel, a mixing valve unit, and a circulation mechanism. The mixing valve unit has a valve member and a drive unit configured to drive the valve member to change a mixing ratio of supply water heated by the heater and unheated water. The circulation mechanism has: a connection passage that connects the water channel to the heater by being branched from a part of the water channel between the mixing valve unit and the heater; an on-off valve that opens and closes the connection passage; and a pump configured to return the supply water remaining in the water channel through the connection passage to the heater. A drive amount acquisition unit acquires a drive amount of the drive unit, and a controller controls the circulation mechanism based on the drive amount acquired by the drive amount acquisition unit.
ELECTRONIC PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE CONTROL FOR GENERATORS
A method includes pumping coolant into a cooling system of a generator while the generator is generating electrical power. The method includes regulating flow into the cooling system using a pressure relief valve to recirculate a portion of the coolant back to an inlet of the pump. Using the pressure relief valve includes actuating the pressure relief valve based on input from the cooling system and/or from the generator.
User interface for controlling a shower system
A user interface (120) for controlling a shower system (100) includes at least one control (140) configured to be actuated by a user and generate one or more signals for controlling an operation of the shower system (100), and at least one indicator light (154) configured to illuminate in different patterns which are matched to different operational stages of the shower system (100). The at least one indicator light (154) may be configured to provide a first light pattern when the shower system (100) is in a first operational stage, and a second light pattern that is different from the first light pattern when the shower system (100) is in a second operational stage. The first operational stage may include when water in the shower system (100) is being warmed to a predetermined temperature, and the second operational stage may include when a temperature of the water has reached the predetermined temperature.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR HEATING OR COOLING A BED BASED ON HUMAN BIOLOGICAL SIGNALS
Introduced are methods and systems for an adjustable bed device configured to: gather biological signals associated with multiple users, such as heart rate, respiration rate, or temperature; analyze the gathered human biological signals; and heat or cool a bed based on the analysis.
WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A programmable system with user interface control for water flow rate or water temperature. Embodiments of the invention include a water temperature control system for a shower.
