In one example, a pedal device includes a base element, for example, to be arranged in a footwell, and a pedal element which is pivotably moveable with respect to the base element. The pedal element is connected to the base element via a hinge. The hinge includes a belt band having a first section and a second section. The first section is fastened to the base element and the second section is fastened to the pedal element. A particularly simple and cost-effective pedal device having stable articulation can be obtained due to the use of a belt band.

A vehicle brake assembly includes an actuation lever coupled to a brake pedal. The brake assembly also includes a push rod of a brake booster. The push rod has a clevis on an end portion thereof. The clevis comprises two prongs. The brake assembly further includes an alignment device seated on each respective prong of the clevis. The alignment devices are configured to collectively guide and position the clevis into alignment with the actuation lever during construction of the brake assembly.

A vehicle pedal apparatus includes a pedal member installed to be fixed to a dashboard; and a pedal arm rotatably connected to pedal member, elongated in a vertical direction, and including a lower portion that is bent sideways with respect to a front-and-rear direction of a vehicle body, to extend in a first lateral direction and an upper portion that has a first side indented in a second lateral direction opposite to the first lateral direction.

A pedal assembly for a vehicle, including a pedal arm, a pivot shaft operatively attached to the pedal arm and defining a pivot axis, and identical and housing components. The housing components each have a body defining an inner surface and an outer surface, a mount formed on the body and adapted for attachment to the vehicle, a receiver formed on the body extending away from the outer surface, a coupler formed on the body extending away from the outer surface and disposed in spaced relation with the receiver, and a bore defined along the inner surface arranged between the receiver and the coupler to support at least a portion of the pivot shaft. The pedal arm includes a hollow and is configured to rotate based on a rotation of the pedal pad. The sensing board has at least a portion inserted into the hollow and includes a hole sensor configured to sense a magnetic force generated by the magnet.
