DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR PREVENTING MISALIGNMENT IN VEHICLE BRAKE ASSEMBLIES
A vehicle brake assembly includes an actuation lever coupled to a brake pedal. The brake assembly also includes a push rod of a brake booster. The push rod has a clevis on an end portion thereof. The clevis comprises two prongs. The brake assembly further includes an alignment device seated on each respective prong of the clevis. The alignment devices are configured to collectively guide and position the clevis into alignment with the actuation lever during construction of the brake assembly.
Vehicle pedal assembly with plastic pedal shaft structure
A vehicle pedal assembly with a stationary plastic pedal shaft structure made of different plastic materials and more specifically a vehicle pedal assembly with a pedal shaft including an exterior bearing surface adapted for abutting bearing contact with the surface of the drum of the pedal shaft. The bearing surface is made of a different plastic material that minimizes wear and friction between the shaft surface and the pedal drum surface. The pedal shaft includes opposed key shaped ends that are inserted into respective key hole shaped through-holes defined in the pedal assembly housing for aligning and securing the pedal shaft in the pedal housing.
Foot Pedal Occlusion Indicator System, Apparatus, and Method
A system, method and apparatus for notifying a surgeon of an occlusion in an ocular surgical apparatus are disclosed herein. Through operation of a handpiece of the surgical apparatus, the handpiece may become blocked or occluded. An occlusion detector is configured to sense the occlusion in the handpiece, and an occlusion signal is generated. A control module is provided to send an occlusion warning signal to a foot pedal of the surgical apparatus, where a tactile notification is provided to a user of the apparatus that an occlusion has occurred.
Two piece pedal arm
A two piece pedal arm assembly which forms a shell forming an internal cavity is provided. The two shell piece pedal arm permits the ability to carefully control wall thicknesses. This permits the ability to provide the proper strength where needed in complex designs resulting in weight savings. Additionally, other components such as the bracket and cage for a ball and booster arm, pedal adjusters, and the like can be mounted within the shell thereby providing robust attachment and a more pleasing appearance.
Vehicle pedal bracket and vehicle operation pedal device
A vehicle pedal bracket, including a pair of bracket halves disposed on right and left sides of an operation pedal and joined by placing joint portions thereof parallel and on top of each other so that the joint portions surface contact each other, and the vehicle pedal bracket being fixed to a vehicle body via attachment portions of the pair of bracket halves, the joint portions protruding from the bracket halves formed by a sheet material and at least one of the joint portions bent into a crank shape and placed on top of each other so as to surface contact each other, the joint portions being provided at least at two positions located on both sides of the attachment portions in a vertical direction of a vehicle, and the joint portion which is located below the attachment portions being provided to protrude toward the front of the vehicle.
PEDAL BODY FOR AN ACTUATION PEDAL OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
An actuation pedal of a motor vehicle includes a pedal body, an adjustment apparatus and a mount for mounting the adjustment apparatus to the pedal body. The pedal body includes a beam and a filling material, the filling material formed by stiffening members arranged in the interior of the beam. An adjustment apparatus includes an adjustable actuation tread. The mount is surrounded by the beam and formed by a cylindrical cut-out at a side of the beam facing the actuation tread and by a corresponding hollow cylindrical portion in the filling material.
Pedal device
A pedal pad includes a tread portion depressed by a driver, is fixed to a pad holder, and is displaced together with the pad holder with respect to a support when depressed. A load sensor is fixed to the pad holder and detects a pedal effort of the driver acting on the pedal pad. A pedal effort transmission member includes a pressing portion that presses the load sensor to transmit the pedal effort to the load sensor, and is placed between the tread portion and both the load sensor and the pad holder, and pressed by the tread portion. The pedal pad holds the pedal effort transmission member against the pad holder so that the pressing portion is pressed against the load sensor by the elastic deformation of the pedal pad when the depression operation is not performed.

Vehicular pedal with latching foot pad
A method of assembling a vehicular foot pedal includes providing a pedal arm and a foot pad having a front surface configured for engagement by a driver's foot. The foot pad is assembled to a distal portion of the pedal arm along an assembly direction parallel to a normal surface vector of the front surface. The foot pad is latched to the pedal arm by a flexible latch member integral to a rear surface of the foot pad, the flexible latch member extending through a corresponding opening in the pedal arm.
