System with speaker, transceiver and related devices and methods
A method includes wirelessly receiving audio content via a first transceiver included in a housing of a first device and producing a first audible signal from the audio content via a speaker included in the housing of the first device. The audio content is wirelessly transmitted via the first transceiver to a second transceiver integrated within a first remote speaker. A second audible signal is produced from the audio content via the first remote speaker. The method also includes wirelessly relaying the audio content via the second transceiver to a third transceiver integrated within a second remote speaker and producing a third audible signal from the audio content via the second remote speaker. The second remote speaker is located outside of the transmission range of the first transceiver.
Accessory devices for electronic devices
An accessory device with a cover and keyboard section is described. The keyboard section includes a keyboard and a touchpad, while the cover section includes multiple segments. The cover section orients the electronic device such that a user can access the electronic device, the keyboard, and the touchpad. The cover section is rotationally coupled to the keyboard section by one or more hinge assemblies (including clutches and springs), allowing the cover section and the electronic device to rotate relative to the keyboard section. The cover section includes a first and second segment rotationally coupled together. To further adjust the electronic device, the first segment remains coupled to the electronic device, allowing the first segment and the electronic device to rotate relative to the second segment. The cover section can then suspend the electronic device over the keyboard section, and the electronic device does not contact the keyboard section.
Module and method for detecting the presence of an electronic payment terminal on a receiving dock, corresponding receiving dock
A module for detecting presence of an electronic payment terminal on a receiving dock having a connector intended to co-operate with a complementary connector of the electronic payment terminal. The connector of the receiving dock includes at least one series transmission pin intended for transmitting signals from the electronic payment terminal to the receiving dock. The module is configured to drive at least one module for signaling a presence of the electronic payment terminal on the receiving dock as a function of the voltage on the series transmission pin.
Docking station, electrical device, and method for configuring basic input output system
A docking station includes a network interface controller (NIC), a dock-side controller and a dock-side connector interface. The NIC is configured to transmit one or more management component transport protocol (MCTP) packets via a system management bus (SMbus). The dock-side controller is electrically coupled to the SMbus, and configured to encode the one or more MCTP packets to one or more vendor specific protocol (VSP) packets. The dock-side connector interface is electrically coupled to the dock-side controller, and configured to transmit the one or more VSP packets to an electrical device to control a basic input output system (BIOS) of the electrical device on the condition that the electrical device is connected to the docking station via the dock-side connector interface.
Controlled-environment facility communication terminal and personal computer wireless device docking station with integral keypads
A communication system comprising a processing system is configured to support data, voice and video communications. A docking station is coupled to the processing system and is configured to provide power and data connections to a personal computer wireless device. The personal computer wireless device is configured to provide power, data, and analog connections. The docking station may act as a controlled-environment facility communication terminal, providing communication functionality to a user employing an integral, solid-surface keypad defined in, and by, a surface of the docking station's housing, when the personal computer wireless device is not held in the docking station. The docking station is coupled to the processing system over at least one pair of low-voltage wires having an electrical current sufficient to power the personal computer wireless device. The pair(s) of low-voltage wires may provide sufficient electrical current to charge a battery in the personal computer wireless device.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes a display module, a support configured to rotate and support the display module, and a mounting device configured to mount a mobile device on the display module. The mobile device is configured to be paired with the display module. The mounting device includes a mounting portion including a mounting groove having a shape corresponding to a frame forming borders of the display module. The mounting portion is coupled to the frame when the frame is inserted into the mounting groove, and an accommodating portion is positioned below the mounting portion, and accommodates the mobile device such that the mobile device is mounted on the display module.
Portable terminal
A portable terminal includes a main body having a rectangular shape in a plan view and having a display on a surface, a battery housed in the main body, and a circuit board. As viewed from the back, the main body is divided into areas consisting of a matrix of 25 divisions. The battery is housed in a first integrated area, and the center of the battery is located in the 13th area as viewed from the back. The circuit board is disposed along the perimeter of the battery as viewed through the back, and an option component is removably attached to an option area.
Open concept charging computer cart
An open concept computer cart has a frame, a lower computer storage shelf supported by the frame, an upper computer storage shelf supported by the frame, and a forward-facing brick storage area formed vertically intermediate the upper and lower computer storage shelves. The upper and lower computer storage shelves are rearwardly inclined to prevent computers stored thereon from sliding off of the shelves. A single wiring retention strip is formed along a front surface of the open concept computer cart, and a power outlet strip is formed along a rear of the brick storage area. The wiring retention strip has wire retention cutouts formed along its length to retain charging tethers for computers stored on both the upper and lower computer storage shelves.
WIRELESS CHARGER
Embodiments of this application provide a wireless charger, and relate to the field of charging device technologies. The wireless charger includes a wireless charging module, a first fan, a housing including a contact plate used for contact with the rear surface of the terminal device, and an air intake vent disposed at a position that is of the housing and that is close to the first fan, and an airflow guide structure disposed on a side that is of the housing and that is adjacent to the contact plate. The airflow guide structure extends toward the display surface of the terminal device.
