Central plant control system with control region detection based on control envelope ray-casting
Disclosed herein are related to a system, a method, and a non-transitory computer readable medium for controlling a central plant. In one aspect, the system obtains a control envelope for a device controlled by the controller. The control envelope comprises boundaries of a plurality of control regions in a multidimensional operating space for the device. Each control region is enclosed by a corresponding boundary. The system counts a number of times that a ray of the device crosses the boundary of a control region. The system determines whether an operating point of the device is within the control region based on the counted number. The system operates the device according to a predetermined control technique corresponding to the control region, in response to determining that the operating point of the device is within the control region.
RENDERING ENHANCEMENT BASED IN PART ON EYE TRACKING
An apparatus having a computing device and a user interface—such as a user interface having a display that can provide a graphical user interface (GUI). The apparatus also includes a camera, and a processor in the computing device. The camera can be connected to the computing device and/or the user interface, and the camera can be configured to capture pupil location and/or eye movement of a user. The processor can be configured to: identify a visual focal point of the user relative to the user interface based on the captured pupil location, and/or identify a type of eye movement of the user (such as a saccade) based on the captured eye movement. The processor can also be configured to control parameters of the user interface based at least partially on the identified visual focal point and/or the identified type of eye movement.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING INTERFACE DISPLAY, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for controlling a display of an interface of a mobile terminal includes: displaying, while a first game application is running, a first game interface and a first virtual key in a main user interface in a full-screen mode. The first virtual key configured to control the first game application. In accordance with a determination that a switch mode is triggered, providing a first sub-interface and a first touch interface, the first touch interface being configured to display a virtual key for controlling the first game application. The method includes zooming out of the first game interface; displaying the first game interface in the first sub-interface, and displaying the first virtual key in the first touch interface. The method allows a user to continue a game in progress without having to frequently switch the interface, thereby simplifying the user operation.
Methods and devices for information acquisition, detection, and application of foot gestures
A method for graphical user interface (GUI) item selection using pressing state, pointing direction and/or tilt angle of a controller, includes detecting a change of the controller's pressing state from a first pre-determined pressing state to a second pre-determined pressing state; and when the controller's pressing state remains as the second pre-determined pressing state, evaluating an angle difference of a controller's pointing direction, and/or an angle difference of a controller's tilt angle; and determining an GUI item for selection using the evaluated angle difference of the controller's pointing direction, and/or the evaluated angle difference of the controller's tilt angle.

METHOD FOR DISPLAYING RESOURCES AND COMPUTER DEVICE
A method is provided for displaying resources. The method includes: displaying a multimedia resource of a target activity in an initialization interface of an application in response to a launch operation on the application; displaying a target account in the initialization interface, and sending an invitation request to a server based on the target account to trigger the server to send invitation information to a terminal corresponding to the target account, so as to invite the target.

Screen Display Control Method and Electronic Device
A screen display control method may be implemented by an electronic device configured with a foldable touchscreen. The touchscreen includes a first area and a second area. A first interface is displayed in a first area and a first operation is detected in a first interface. A second interface is displayed in a second area in response to the first operation and the second interface is associated with content displayed in the first interface.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device having a noncontact input function is provided. The electronic device includes a display device and an input device and is capable of performing an input operation even without contact. The display device includes a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device in a display portion. The input device includes a light source. The light-receiving device has a function of detecting light emitted from the light source included in the input device. Infrared light that has substantially no spectral luminous efficacy is used as the light emitted from the light source included in the input device. Therefore, even irradiation of the display portion with the light at high luminance does not affect visual recognition of the display. This structure enables a noncontact input operation with respect to the display device.
