IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM ENCODED WITH JOB EXECUTION CONTROL PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes a measurer that measures biometric information of a user, an analyzer that analyzes the measured biometric information, a job accepter that accepts jobs, a job executer that executes the jobs accepted by the job accepter, a hardware processor configured to estimate a job execution time period during which the job executor executes each of at least one of a plurality of jobs accepted by the job acceptor, to estimate a finish time point at which the analyzer finishes the analysis, and, in response to start of measurement of the biometric information by the measurer, to change execution order of a relating job, which relates to the user who is a subject of the measurement by the measurer, among the plurality of jobs such that a period during which the relating job is executed and the finish time point have a predetermined relationship.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING PRINT DEVICE STATUS INFORMATION USING A LIGHT INDICATOR FEEDBACK MECHANISM
A system for providing print device dynamic status indicator feedback includes a print device, and a status indicator feedback unit. The print device includes a print engine and one or more status monitors. The status indicator feedback unit includes a display device, a light emitting module, a processor in communication with the light emitting module, and a computer-readable medium containing programming instructions. The system may receive information corresponding to one or more current machine states of the print device from the one or more status monitors of the print device, determine a priority level associated with each of the one or more current machine states, identify a machine state associated with a highest priority level, identify a dynamic feedback pattern associated with the identified machine state. The dynamic feedback pattern includes a visual pattern. The system may and instruct the light emitting module to emit the visual pattern.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a first print medium database storing first print medium data items indicating attributes of a print medium. The information processing apparatus is coupled to a printing device including a second print medium database storing second print medium data items. The information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to determine whether the first and second print medium databases are synchronized with each other; determine whether the second print medium data items stored in the second print medium database are supported in the information processing apparatus, when the first and second print medium databases are determined as not being synchronized with each other; and delete the first print medium data items stored in the first print medium database, and store, in the first print medium database, a second print medium data item determined as being supported.
PRINT CONTROLLER, PRINT CONTROL METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided is a print controller connectable to each of a cut paper printer and a continuous paper printer, the print controller including a receiving unit that receives a print job in a job ticket format from a print work flow system, a test print instruction unit that generates a print job of a new test print based on the print job and instructs the cut paper printer to execute a print process to execute a test print using print data included in the print job, a holding notification unit that notifies the print work flow system of an effect that the print job is held, and a real print job instruction unit that sends the print data included in the print job and a print parameter to the continuous paper printer and instructs the continuous paper printer to execute a real print job.
Information processing apparatus, control method for information processing apparatus, and storage medium
A portable terminal transmits a print job to a print apparatus, by connecting to an access point based on connection information acquired from an NFC tag. On completion of the transmission of the print job, the portable terminal deletes the connection information acquired from the NFC tag, from a memory, so that the connection information acquired from the NFC tag is not displayed in a connection history.
PRINTING SYSTEM, PRINTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Embodiments of the present disclosure are configured to allow a general user to select a preset setting as much as possible even when some of print setting items are lock-set by an administrator user. Accordingly, even when the print setting item is lock-set, the general user may select a preset setting as long as there is no conflict.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A communication apparatus specifies a radio field intensity of a received packet, and executes processing using the radio field intensity. The apparatus receives a packet transmitted from an external apparatus, and determines a correction value of a radio field intensity of the packet based on model information of the external apparatus. Then, the radio field intensity of the packet is corrected using the determined correction value.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In a case where it is determined that an HTTP request has been received via an IPP printing port, an image processing apparatus transmits a first HTTP response for permitting transmission of print data to an information processing apparatus. On the other hand, in a case where it is determined that an HTTP request has been received via a port different from the IPP printing port, the image processing apparatus transmits a second HTTP response including data regarding a remote screen for enabling the information processing apparatus to manage the image processing apparatus to the information processing apparatus.
Image forming apparatus, image forming method, and translation system
An image forming apparatus connected over a network to an information processing apparatus, which translates source text information to be translated, includes a reading unit, a transmitter, and an output unit. The reading unit reads image information from an original document. The transmitter transmits partial image information read from a part of the original to the information processing apparatus at a point in time when the partial image information has been read. The receiver receives, from the information processing apparatus, partial translated information obtained by translating source text information contained in the partial image information. The output unit outputs the received partial translated information. The reading unit reads the image information from the original even while the partial image information is transmitted to the information processing apparatus. When the reading unit has completed reading the image information, the transmitter transmits the reading-completed image information to the information processing apparatus.
Printing system and printing device
A first printer 60 has a connection unit to which data is input and which outputs print data based on the input data; a first printer print unit 71 that prints; a detection unit 62B that detects if the input printing result contains an error when the printing result of the print data output from the connection unit is input; a reprint storage unit 65A that stores print data when the detection unit 62B detects an error; and a reprint control unit 62F that outputs print data stored in the reprint storage unit 65A from the connection unit when a predetermined specific condition is met.
