The computer includes a controller and a memory. The set of program instructions, when executed by the controller, causes the computer to perform: referring to history information indicating a printer use history of each of a plurality of users; and determining, for a part of a target printer to be rented to a target user, whether the part satisfies a replacement condition by using the history information and a scheduled rental period. The scheduled rental period is a rental period during which the target printer is scheduled to be rented. The replacement condition indicates that the part should be replaced before the target printer is rented to the target user.

Embodiments provide automatic printing and delivery of a printed document from a virtual reality (VR) environment. The printed document may be delivered to the user while preserving the user's immersion within a virtual reality session. A printed-out copy of the document may be physically delivered to the user by a robot. In some embodiments, a virtual reality server may coordinate requests for printed documents, provide print and delivery status updates within the VR space, and control the robot's path to the delivery site.

In such method, a radio frequency identification tag of a plurality of radio frequency identification tags within a first range is detected by a radio frequency identification reader of a printer. Tag information for the radio frequency identification tag is sent to a server. The tag information for a user is mapped to a user list on the server. A check for a policy for the user is made. The printer is waked from a sleep mode for operation by the user responsive to a determination the user is likely to use the printer responsive to the policy.
