INTELLIGENT FLOW STATE SYNCHRONIZATION TO IMPROVE RESILIENCY, AVAILABILITY, AND/OR PERFORMANCE OF REDUNDANT NETWORK SECURITY DEVICES
Example security systems for use between at least one upstream router and at least one downstream router, are described. A group or pool of security devices can be used to provide stateful security to bidirectional packet flows between upstream and downstream routers. The packets of the bidirectional flows are forwarded to particular security devices based on a consistent hash ring process. For a given flow, bidirectional state information is synchronized among some, but not all, of the security devices. The security devices among which such bidirectional flow state information is shared are determined using the same consistent hash ring process.
QUERY AND UPDATE OF PROCESSOR BOOST INFORMATION
A query operation is performed to obtain information for a select entity of a computing environment. The information includes boost information of one or more boost features currently available for the select entity. The one or more boost features are to be used to temporarily adjust one or more processing attributes of the select entity. The boost information obtained from performing the query operation is provided in an accessible location to be used to perform one or more actions to facilitate processing in the computing environment.
CUSTOMIZABLE REDAPTOR EXTENSIONS FOR SINGLE-PAGE WEB APPLICATIONS
A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for modifying a web application at runtime. A single-page web application is loaded by a web browser of a client, wherein the single-page web application exchanges data between the client and a server. An extension for the single-page web application is obtained. The extension is applied to the single-page web application, wherein applying the extension adds a new feature, or modifies an existing feature, of the single-page web application without reloading the single-page web application.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SCHEDULING TASKS IN MULTI-CORE PROCESSOR
An apparatus includes a plurality of processing cores, and a memory including a plurality of task queues corresponding to the plurality of processing cores, respectively, wherein at least one processing core of the plurality of processing cores is configured, by executing a scheduler, to determine execution of task rescheduling, based on states of the plurality of processing cores, tasks stored in the plurality of task queues, and at least one reference value, and, when the task rescheduling is executed, move a first task stored in a first task queue to a second task queue.
Intelligent framework updater to incorporate framework changes into data analysis models
A computer system adapts a model analyzing data. Information sources are analyzed to determine one or more changes for a computerized model employed for analyzing data. One or more current projects each using an implementation of the computerized model with at least one of the determined changes are identified. The implementations are compared to the employed computerized model to determine differences. One or more adaptations for the employed computerized model are determined in response to the determined differences satisfying a threshold, wherein the one or more adaptations for the employed computerized model are based on the determined changes in the corresponding implementation of the computerized model. At least one adaption is installed into a platform hosting the employed model for modification of the employed model. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for adapting a model analyzing data in substantially the same manner described above.
Systems and methods for building dynamic interfaces
First data indicative of a first plurality of transactions by a user may be processed to generate first behavioral information describing the user. The first behavioral information may be displayed by an interactive user interface. A user input made in response to the first behavioral information may be received and analyzed to generate user preference information indicating a relationship between the first user input and the first behavioral information. Second data indicative of a second plurality of transactions by the user may be received and processed with the user preference information to generate second behavioral information describing the user. The second behavioral information may be displayed by the interactive user interface differently from the first behavioral information by the interactive user interface as a result of the processing of the second data and the user preference information together.
Bootstrapping profile-guided compilation and verification
Apparatus and methods related providing application execution information (AEI) are provided. A server can receive a request to provide a software package for a particular software application. The server can determine composite AEI (CAEI) for the particular software application. The CAEI can include a composite list of software with data about software methods of the particular software application executed by a computing device other than the server. The server can extract particular AEI related to the particular software application from the CAEI. The particular AEI can provide compiler hints for compiling at least one software method predicted to be executed by the particular software application. The server can generate the software package, where the software package can include the particular software application and the particular AEI. The server can provide the software package.
Selective enhancement of interactive configuration interfaces
A method for selectively generating suggested default values for I/O configurations is provided. The method identifies a first selection including a first input value for an I/O configuration. The method determines a set of remaining input options based on the first selection. The method accesses a set of decision trees based on the set of remaining input options and selects a decision tree of the set of decision trees based on the first input value. The method generates a suggested value for a subsequent selection for the I/O configuration and causes presentation of the suggested value and a user interface element representing the subsequent selection.
System component having a configurable communication behavior, and method for operating such a system component
A system component having a configurable communication behavior. The system component includes at least one interface for a data bus for the communication with at least one further system component. A defined communications protocol for the transmitting and receiving of data and bus commands is used on the data bus. The communications protocol provides that the at least one further system component queries the communication behavior of the system component via the data bus to adapt its own communication behavior to that of the system component. The system component includes a register for configuration data that define the communication behavior of the system component on the data bus, the register being connected to the data bus so that the configuration data stored in the register are available on the data bus. The function scope of the system component allows for different communication behaviors.
Tab visibility
According to one general aspect, a computing device may include an application configured to create a tab in a context of a window, and a window manager configured to register the tab with a first UI element registry. The window manager may be configured to receive, over a network, at least a portion of a second UI element registry from a secondary window manager of a secondary computing device. The portion of the second UI element registry may identify a remote tab previously registered with the secondary window manager. The window manager may be configured to cause a display to provide a graphical arrangement of the tab and the remote tab.
